Hero - is it unbranded?

Hi

I have a HTC Hero from 3UK on contract but the phone has no branding on it at all. Is it unbranded?

The reason I say this.....there is no 3 logos on start up or anywhere on the phone, no apps with anything to do with 3.

The sim is mine and I swapped it over from an early upgrade (N95) on contract with 3UK.

Just tried that, to satisfy my own curiosity and it wouldn't let me download the Orange ROM based on my 3's serial number
I expected it wouldn't, since i am unable to download 2.73.405.5 (EU).....so it must be branded in some way

That new one I linked to probably isn't anything major, only a few minor bug fixes or something. You're still running 2.73.x.x so you can't be too far behind. I only mentioned it so you could confirm it really was a 3UK phone :)

Plus, with the 2.1 update coming soon, there's no point installing it really.
