This is driving me nuts!! I pre-ordered this case from HTC direct and everytime the expected stock delivery date is reached the date slips yet again!! For the last two weeks the website said expected 2nd July and today it now says 23rd July?? They must have a firm date from case-mate? looks like they are stringing us along...

Me too,
IV ORDERD the hybrid tough case, 23rd july, is so long away, not impressed to be honest,
shame, i hope its not one of these situations, where it gets delayed again and again, also does anyone know if these are on sell anywhere else?

I also had it on pre-order from HTC Direct. On 1st July I emailed them about the date slipping - and they said:

"Have just spoken to the distributors and they think that this model is still subject to further delays. Current date is mid-July but this is not set in stone. Sorry about this."

I've asked for my order to be cancelled and I bought a Case-Mate Barely There for

I've been using my PDair Aluminium case with belt clip for the last couple of weeks now and the quality is very good. Phone fits snugly into the case and it has all the relevant holes and gaps for the camera and buttons for easy access. Back and sides are all safely covered so no damage to the phone if it is dropped, the case even has some grills on the back to allow heat to escape during heavy mobile usage.

I am impressed with the build quality but there is a catch, and the catch itself is the problem. I'm finding that when I have the phone clipped onto my belt it is very easy to flick open the case as the catch that keeps it closed just doesn't do a good enough job. Just today while out shopping my hand caught it and the phone fell out of the case onto the floor, thankfully it landed on its back and sustained no damage.

Other then that, good case that's worth the money, I even bought the car holder so I can just clip the phone onto it just like the belt clip.

I bought these screen protectors

5 bucks, free delivery, 6 of them.

6X LCD Screen Protector Film for HTC Desire Bravo G7 # - eBay, Cases, Mobile Accessories, Phones. (end time 10-Jul-10 23:25:22 AEST)

and they have worked a treat!

very easy install. heads up, the second sticker is meant to unstick the front 'mask', this can be confusing (i first thought 'well this is crap' and removed it, only to find that it had already been installed underneath! it took close inspection before i realized.)

the screen is VERY thin, can barely see it. no funny colors, doesn't smudge.

the glue on it is perfect, if u stuff it up no mess is left behind

just sayin.......

I recently purchased one of these and love it.

I don't like having phones in my pocket after breaking the screen of an XDA Exec years ago. This case fits close to the body so is hardly noticeable yet the phone is securely held. Also it says "bugatti" on the front and belt hoop. The hoop is hardly noticeable too so the case can slip into the pocket nicely if need.

never tried a gelaskin but I did have a zagg invisibleshield full body protector on my old n96. It was a bit of a pain to apply but they really do work and offer excellent protection. The one thing I would worry about is that on the one I had the corners were cut away to enable side and top coverage and 9 times out of 10 that is where my phone would land.

If that video is an official gelaskin or zagg one I would take it with a pinch of salt as they always make it look easy :D

Overall though they are good and maybe worth a try.

Has anyone put a gel case / skin on their phone and keep it in a case / pouch?

I've got the lupo pull up case which is nice, but doesn't really offer much protection.

I like having it in a pouch though as it both keeps it clean and protects the screen.

Can anyone recommend something that would satisfy this?

Got my case, POS520, it's lovely, just what i was looking for.

Also picked up the invisiShield for the HTC desire, got frustrated and cut it up. At no fault of the product itself, just can't be bothered having lint under my screen, it just sends my OCD inclined brain into a meltdown. Unless you live in space, it's gonna happen. Also when you first clean your phone with the anti-lint cloth they give you, it leaves nice little blue lint balls on your screen, something you only notice once applied, then u take it off to remove them but they smudge and whatever dye was in the cloth now leaves a nice blue streak on the Shield, impossible to remove.

You live and you learn, with the case I shouldn't get scratches, and if I do, i'm over it ;)
