Application to stop Rotate to Lock/Answer
If I'm reading the description of Lock 2.0 correctly, you still have to slide your finger across to unlock. And I dont believe it changes anything with answering calls.
Whoops... yeah. I fail at reading comprehension tonight. I thought you'd said you'd wanted it more like the iPhone, for some reason.

does anyone know of an application so I Dont have to semi slide my finger across the arc each time to rotate to take a call... or lock it or silence it... I would prefer simply pushing... Accept/Ignore or what not...

This is a major design flaw and perhaps even a deal-killer on whether I keep this phone. My old phone just flipped to answer. Droid users have to: 1)Look to ensure that you are holding the front and not the back towards you. 2) Ensure that you aren't holding it upside down. Again, it's hard to tell. 3) Slide your thumb across the screen just right. Otherwise it doesn't answer the call.

This phone needs an app that would allow answering the phone with a double tap on the screen.

Try Awake Screen On app widget. It has 3 settings to basically remove the lock slide portion. I have mine set to Awake Stay where I can push the "display on" button at the top and it takes me right to my home screen without having to slide the lock screen.

The only thing I wish that WAS out there was a screen double tap to activate the display vs having to hit the power button at the top.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but it does get rid of the lock portion (there are 2 other settings for this application), but this is what I use it for.
