Screen Loose? You might wanna try this...

My phone is only three weeks old, and I too have the left bottom corner wiggle. I did not remove anything from the back of this phone. Now, I am very appreciative of having someone show us how to cure this, but my major concern is this. The Droid is so damn expensive, and there are a lot of us having the Left Bottom Wiggle, that there should be a re-call on shabby workmanship, and that we shouldn't have to be adding electrical tape to improve its performance. Just adding my two cents to a few major dollars.

No doubt. They should be replacing Droid's with shoddy hardware. Unfortunately, they aren't at this point (besides Verizons 30 day replacement Droid, which I've already used due to major flaws with my first one).

Kind of a good idea for a fix (I've done something similar on the underside of the screen just to tighten up the slide) but you can't possibly argue that needing to do any of this isn't completely ridiculous. The damn phone hasn't even been out 2 months yet.

no kidding... is it going to last 2 years? i have the insurance just in case.

I was going to try this too, but finally I ended up just sliding a folded piece of paper under the screen to get rid of the annoying wiggle/tap when I touch the screen.

It's a quick and dirty solution, and I need to reposition the paper whenever I slide out the keyboard. I hardly use the hardware keyboard anyway, so I can live with this.

Will most likely get the Seidio Innocase to hopefully solve this for good.

My local verizon store is horrid in terms of customer relations. They refused to exchange my phone due to the screen instability. Now that I know i can dispute this, my 30 day period is up =(

Just an FYI, I had a problem with my phone where the slider was more loose on the right side. When I went to my local store, they told me to, and I quote, "use your other thumb to slide the phone up if it bothers you too much".. I called verizon and they were shocked at his response and they told me that the slider problem was listed in their system as a "known issue", and they would be able to send me a new phone (refurbished). Thats what I did and I dont have issues anymore, for now...

Never go to an actual Verizon store, they will say whatever ridiculous crap they can to avoid giving you a replacement. Always call in.

There is a visible gap between the screen and keyboard on the lower left half portion of the phone. I know a good amount of people have complained about this. Anyway, the gap was pissing me off (you could feel it give when pressing down on the lower left of the screen) so I decided to try something:

-Black electrical tape
