i know this has been covered and i read the other forums, still didn't get an answer.

after the OTA update, i'll go from 100% to 50% in about 3.5 hours with "moderate" use. my usage habits haven't changed at all actually, and with the Overclocked Widget installed i would be at 80-90% after 4 hours of "moderate" use. now the things just drains.......

i've made sure gtalk is signed out, lowered screen brightness, made sure the syncing is to a minimum??? only turn on BT, Wifi, GPS when needed. i've updated PRL and anything else i can update. i don't run a task killer as i'm going to go with the folks who say it's unnecessary and actually slows the device. i had previously used unrevoked but after OTA it won't worked. so i uninstalled it and overclock widget.

i'd really like to reinstall those two but keep hearing stories about it bricking phones.

any ideas and or help is appreciated.

I never used unrevoked and I do use ATK, but I find that after the update my battery WILL drain faster than previously if I don't do the following:

Charge until JUST turn green (or even stop at 99). That's it. For some reason if you overcharge it the battery will start fast draining immediately. But if you charge just enough (while on, not off) it seems to hold better. Might be worth a try to see if that is the problem for you. If I don't do that my battery drains twice as fast as pre-update (where I could turn the phone off charge overnight and have 100 percent hold for an hour or more). But if I do it holds like before. I don't know why.
