Accessories just got my two new batteries and battery battery dock delivered from Hong Kong for $12

Just got mine in today, you may try looking for Battery's for the TP2, mine had stickers saying they were for the TP2 on them.

Yes, they still work in the Evo, aswell as the Hero.

They look promising, and if they don't last as long as the OEM one, oh well. was only $10

But they do. Again, this is old news and many people have gotten them and have been using them. Just about everyone says the same thing. These batteries last just as long as the stock battary.

I know a lot of other people have chimed in but I just thought I would echo what everyone else is saying. If you need a spare battery (or two) this is a great deal. I can tell no difference between these batteries and the stock Evo battery. A charger that does battery and phone at the same time with 2 batteries for $11 shipped is gonna be tough to beat.

Can i use my original phone charger to charge these batteries from ebay or do i have to take them out of my phone and use their charger?

I rather take an extra battery than an extra charger.

They work great and do last longer than the OEM. Now there's an 1800 battery & charger for $11.28 on eBay.

I was having a problem with my battery going from 100% down to 80% very rapidly like most people were having. Well, today, my two batteries that I ordered from eBay with a charger came in. I charged one of them completely with the wall charger, swapped my battery out and it stayed on 100% for about 10 minutes before going down. After some calls and data use (downloaded about 25 MB of data), it is at 88% after about 2 hours.

Not sure if I will get better battery life but so far, it seems like it.

Any links you can provide or details on purchasing the battery?

Mine came in the mail today. I've had the battery in the external charger plugged in for about 3 hours. The light shines a violet color. It really ought to be charged by now, but gives no indication that it is so...unless it came fully charged and the violet color is the full-charge indicator, which I doubt, most batteries ship at around 40% for sake of handling under various temperature conditions.

I have the same set. The charger is slow, but the colored bar will eventually turn from purple to blue. For a full charge from dead, mine takes about 5 hours.

On the plus side, I perceive that a battery charged on the charger is topped off better than one charged inside the phone. Ones from the charger seem to stay at 100% for close to an hour before they start to show discharge, versus the internally charged battery, which shows discharge immediately.

before you posted this, i went ahead and popped the new battery into the phone, it hadn't turned blue by that point. I put the stock battery into the charger when it was at around 70% and after over an hour its still violet.

So, couple inquiries:

Lets say I did not let the new battery charge to full after taking it out of the external charger, can that capacity be regained.

The tiny little informational that came with the battery says it needs to do 2-3 full charge/discharge cycles before it reaches promised capacity. Did anyone try this, and how did you do it? I went ahead and turned on all system toggles (wifi, bluetooth, 4G) to kill the battery. Since I'm trying to gain battery life this is a bit weird, and also I thought lithium ion batteries don't need to do this. But it was a cheap investment as long as it doesn't explode and make me a eunuch.

LI-Ion cells do not need to go thru cycles. thats probably old NI-MH or Ni-Cd instructions.

if you take the battery out of the charger its the same as unplugging your handset from the charger if the battery is not fully charged. you will not lose any battery health.

if you cycle the lithium ions down to near full discharge that is what kills their capacity....that and heat so top the cells off when you are able to.

i have this battery package and i use these more so than the OEM htc battery. the charger will turn blue. i remember when i charged up the ones i have it took a while to do so...

these cells will NOT explode if you follow the directions on how to handle lithium cells. just because they cost 12 bux do not make them more susceptible to explosion than batteries that cost 60 bux..
