Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

Once you log into your VW account. Goto
Acct. Profile > View Acct. Documents (should be on the right side under "I WANT TO" )

There you will find a list of documents related to your acct. (incl. receipts )

You could always call the customer service number and they will give you the tracking number. At least that way you can see for yourself that Fed Ex has it.

Of course... then all of your time will be wasted refreshing the Fed Ex website. Hope you didn't have any important plans this weekend :p

Lol. No plans for the weekend, its only my sons birthday party and an old friend is coming into town. Everyone will understand if I'm just locked in my room. :p

Well its still not showing up under equipment receipts, which is weird, because my mom and dads phone still show up. Maybe its when it gets activated. Idk. But yeah. I'm relieved as hell.

I sent Verizon an email about this last night. I was really disappointed to see they had sent it 2 Day when their website promises Overnight.

For some reason, I don't see the View Acct. Documents.. Under my account or my moms.. nothing! :(

Go to, at the top, "Account" then under that, click "Account Profile", its the last choice, then on the right hand side of the screen theres a button that says "I WANT TO +" and under that, theres an option, i think its the last one, it says "View Acct. Documents" and under there, click "Equipment receipts"

Also. No bacon. : ( I only have 2 egs, 5 sausage links, Jelly-fied toast, and a coke.

I received my shipping notice yesterday evening. A few things bother me about this process...


  1. I ordered my phone in store 10 minutes after a friend of mine (same store). His received his phone Thursday. Mine didn't ship until Thursday evening.
  2. I noticed many others here ordering in store on 6/12 who have already received their phone. Seems odd for some to get them and some not.
  3. I have also seen them in stores and on Amazon. If a BestBuy and Amazon can get them to sell, why can't I get mine shipped?
  4. The phone shipped 2 day delivery. I was told it would be overnighted. Now it looks like I might not actually get it until Monday because Saturday and Sunday aren't considered business days (FedEx shipping says expected deliver is Monday).
  5. But, the good thing is that I like in Knoxville and the FedEx facility is in Memphis. It shouldn't take 2 days to get here if they use a horse and carriage.

And a coke! That throws off the whole meal! I looked under the I want to & didn't see anything, but i'm off to the beach :) I'll check when I get back. Good luck everyone receiving notifications/phones in the next few hours!

I thought the same thing. I was like "I orderd my phone a freakin' month ago and haven't gotten it, but people get theirs within two or three days of placing an order, or people are getting theirs early" I mean...why can't this happen to everyone? And why is it just sitting there anyways? If its sitting there, can't they get people to just deliver it? It wouldn't take long.

ARRRRRG!!!!! Still no word yet. Called the store I ordered from and they said they still don't know but it will be here by the 14th. They did say there were no delays though. They also said that it IS shipped directly to me, it doesn't go to the store you order from first.

I saw a handful of 6/15's yesterday going out, and already one 6/16 today. Hopefully it will come in this evening just randomly.

I don't know what to say about your friend getting it earlier than you, that is just weird. The only thing I could possibly think is that his order just made the days cutoff for processing while's yours went in the next day. So say the cutoff is 6:00. His went in at 5:55 while yours didn't go in until 6:05.

As for other people on the boards getting it, that has a lot to do with their location. The orders are shipped from different distribution centers all over the country, some just move faster than others. And each has their own supply/demand.

Best Buy and Amazon are totally different from Verizon. Basically, each store has a contract with HTC to get phones. While Verizon has the largest contract with them for the DINC, they also have the highest demand (# of orders). Best Buy and Amazon are only able to keep up better because they don't have nearly as many orders to fill.

The overnight thing sucks. It seems pretty common though. Lots of people are reporting that they were told overnight shipping but it goes out 2 day.


If I were you, I would call Verizon and pitch a fit about the delay between you and your friend and the overnight shipping promise. Maybe they will give you a credit on your bill. Of course, as long as the phone went out by the estimated time that they told you, they may not do anything. But it's worth a shot.

I do love the commerical for the Tiddy Bear though. I LMAO every time I see that woman shove the poor little bears face in her boobies. It almost makes me wanna buy one just to screw with people.
