I have plugged my blackberry charger and my car charger into my Dinc and received a message that said, "The charger you have plugged in is not compatible with the phone. Please unplug it before it ruins your phone", that's not word for word but you get the idea. I had my phone on the stock charger the one that came with the phone on the phone over night and I got up this morning and and it said the same thing that my charger was incompatible and could ruin my phone.
Is this a bug in the phone and has anyone else experienced this?

If I understand you correctly you're saying you're using two different chargers, your Blackberry charger and a different one in your car. If that's the case I would assume either your battery or your phone are malfunctioning. If I were you I would take the phone into an authorized Verizon store and have them check it out.

Like others I use whatever charger is available at the moment and have yet to have any problems, (and I'll keep my fingers crossed that continues).

Is the Blackberry charger one piece (i.e., the cord is permanently attached to the power pack)? I use the HTC charger as well as the one that came with my LG Dare. Both are essentially USB power stations and a USB cable. I can use any combination interchangeably. But if you're Blackberry is all one piece, I could see how the phone could detect this and throw the block on you. FWIW, the iPhone/iPod (gasp! How dare I mention this in an Android forum?!) does the same thing.

I am getting the "not compatible charger" message with my Incredible and I am only using the one that came with it -- no others... Anyone else have this issue? Perhaps a different charger is in order or perhaps the on-board sensor has an issue?

I'd hate to think I waited a month to get my Dinc and have problems right out of the gate.

Yes the Blackberry charger is one piece. It's only happened once using the charger that came with the phone.
