got a question about the advance task killer before i make a new thread i might as well ask it here since im using this rom. it seems that advance task killer isnt actually killing some apps like it used to on a stock unrotted rom ( to be specific: market place, browser and snesoid). it gets annoying that after i kill the browser, and i decide to open it again, im still back at the same webpage i last looked at, or when im at the market place after killing it, im still at the last app i looked at. its getting fustrating for me. can someone tell me if this is how its suppose to be in this rom or is there a fix for this? thanks in advance.

Sorry but I've always found much better performance and battery life after uninstalling task killing apps.

is anyone else having this issue?

It seems in the market that I will update or install a new app and it will download and not install unless i have the market pulled up. So if I update and app and put my phone to sleep it wont install, I have to keep the phone awake with the market pulled up.

Anyone know why this is happening?

Also the terminal by jake palvich or wahtever wont even update, it will stay at 100% downloaded and when I try to hit cancel update the market will force close.

Possibly something lingering from a prior rom, did you wipe cache/data/system/boot before installing?

Anyone else having issues w/ launcherpro and this BB confusing landscape/portrait mode? i wake up my phone in portrait about 1/2 the time and it will still be in landscape mode. Takes a few seconds to switch back

edit: fixed.. if anyone is having this problem, go to the home launcher and turn off the "auto rotate screen" and it is working perfectly again.. BBV.04 + Launcherpro = everything runs like BUTTER!!!!

Yea I do miss the Droid community, at least here on AF.

Hey...don't get all teary eyed on us...we will all come together again when the 2GHz Moto "superphone" becomes a reality! We'll just have to make sure that Pete gets one too! ;)

I'll tell you this though...there have been far less post concerning boobs since you left

Yes I have every intention of getting that powerhouse whenever it becomes a reality.

What are you packing now?

Evo. And I must PAUSE you for the way you asked me....

I just flashed Pete's BB V0.4. Did it over his Froyo V0.1 without wiping. Added the NexTheme posted for it.

"just" ;) running at the stock 800 MHZ.

Went flawlessly. It's fantastic! Like I have a new phone again. Just rooted a few weeks ago with all your guys' help. (Especially Nicks88 and Pete - Thank you!)

I am hooked on rooting and customizing my phone.

Everyone donate to Pete if you can, I will be! Thanks again. :D

Soooo....I took some vacation days from work and I've been doing battery comparison testing while I'm at home and have a constant signal...since July 3rd, when I arrived home, I've averaged 26-28 hours (with a high of 35) without a charge with (for me) usage (5-6 widgets all the time, multiple texts, moderate emailing, light to moderate web usage, and some Super KO Boxing 2). With heavy usage (all of the above, only with more emailing and web browsing, and also playing Bonsai Blast), I've still averaged 14-16 hours (with a high of 20). This blows my previous best battery usage since rooting out of the water.

I'm running BB 0.4 with Chevy's ULV 1.25 gHz and Fab's xTheme over top, no SetCPU or anything along those lines.

Hi all Just rooted my phone yesterday with the help of The_Chief and bp328i. Running BB v0.4 with no kernals or themes. everything now is so lag free and runing smoothly. even when charging the phone does not get blazing hot and seems to charge quicker. I just wish I would of done this long ago.

Now what to do with my phone .

also my phone boots qucker now when I turn it on. Compared to the stock 2.1

again thanks guys and dont know why verizon dont like people rooting? they talk about making your phone your own and all with open source. oh well mine is rooted and lovin it:D
