I actually think Sprint's Insurance is great. You can always fix the phone if it's damaged but what happens when you loose your phone or it's stolen. Paying $500 bucks out of pocket is more costly than paying $100 deductible. That's just my opinion on paying the $7 a month.

Op. That is the most unique crack ever. Usually when they go, they just splinter into 1000's pieces. It almost looks like someone cut a screen protector, just weird.

got the new screen in today.... actually came with the entire phone without the motherboard. Need to also receive the t6 screws before i can replace the screen. Once its replaced, will give an update.

hey! I just fixed my evo! The unit they sent me had EVERYTHING in it, but the motherboard, so i have some extra parts in case something happens to mine... I have a case now though!

When I installed it seemed like the evo was getting used to the new screen, but now it works flawlessly!

For equipment replacement, Sprint has two tiers of deductibles, $50 & $100. Most smartphones fall into Tier 2 @ $100 (including Evo).

From Sprint Site (pdf link to details below):
Equipment Replacement Program Coverage for devices that are lost or stolen or have liquid or physical damage.
The fee for the program is $4 per phone, smart device or Sprint Mobile Broadband card per month.
There is a $50 or $100 non-refundable deductible per approved claim depending on the device.

So Sprint can't just replace a screen for us? What about the camera lense? They should use sapphire crystal for the camera lenses.

i've had cell phones for 20+ years, and never broken a screen...
If you are accident prone, get a case, a screen guard, and insurance..

and lying and cheating to get insurance to pay for your stupidity AFTER the fact will guarantee you a spot in hell and bad karma for the rest of your life..

Unfortunately, I could not find any specifics about the $7/mo plan like the pdf you posted, only the two cheaper plans.
