Early Upgrade Not working

Your problem is that your contract must end by 2010. Not be able to upgrade. Check your contract end dates people.

Not true. My annual upgrade is 8/11 and I just ordered it on the phone. You have to wait for the mail in rebate (dumb?) but I got it for $349.56. $300 for phone, $15 overnight shipping and $20 aka $15 black gloss case * get 25% off thru work on accessories* plus tax.

Will be delievered Friday.
SO EXCITED.

Shanise: Hello. Thank you for visiting our chat service. May I help you with your order today?
You: My contract ends 12/24/10 and the droid x is supose to be able to get that phone for 199.99 w/2yr contract if your contract ends before 12/31/10
You: it won't let me get it for 199.99 just the normal retail price
Shanise: Are you upgrading the main line?
You: upgrading my line
You: which is not the main line
You: but the contract on my line is up before 12/31/10
You: which should qualify me for the Droid X upgrade for 199.99 but the website dosn't seem to recognize it
Shanise: That is for the main lines on an account.
Shanise: that is why it is not there.
Shanise: you can call *611 and get customer care.
You: that dosn't make any sense
Shanise: To see if they can do anything about that for you at this time so you can get that phone. But that offer is for the main lines
Shanise: I understand.
Shanise: I wish they did not set it like that.
You: why would it only allow upgrade for the main line?
Shanise: But that is the only way it says it can get it here.
Shanise: I am not sure.
Shanise: I did not make the offer.
Shanise: But that is just how they set it up.
You: haha I know
Shanise: So again the best thing I can recommend is to call in.
You: so is there any point in calling CS tommorow?
You: ok
Shanise: So customer care can see if they can make the contract up now
Shanise: And if they can change it so you can order.
You: ok thanks
Shanise: Sure. Is there anything else I can do for you?
You: Send me a Droid X for free? :)
Shanise: I cannot do that.
Shanise: The phones are as is.
You: Well had to try
You: Have a great night

This all sound right to you?
