Help Uninstalling Bloatware

Hey everyone,

Really enjoying the new Droid X so far (my first smartphone), but I'm trying to figure out how to get rid of all this horrible bloatware. I cannot even see the apps to uninstall through the settings on the phone, and trying to uninstall them through appbrain just gives an uninstall error. Anyone know if it's possible to remove them?

I'm under the impression that some if not all of them are not uninstallable. I spoke to to someone at Verizon about removing Blockbuster, and he told me as per Verizon's contract with BB, you can't actually remove it. Best you can do is get rid of the icon.

There may be a backdoor way to do it, but I ain't figured it yet.

Yep, I did a little bit more research regarding the bloatware and the only way to remove it is to root the phone. Looks like we're going to have to wait awhile to get rid of all the extra crap.
