welll i think it was stolen from me in a store i was in while shopping, one min i had it in my hand, the next i was like where the hell is my phone, i went bk to the store where i know i had it last & nothing was handed in etc..now iam insured so iam hoping i get a damn replacement. I was told if you loose it, they dont cover it but ill be dammed if they refuse me a replacement as i dont fancy buying another hero at those prices. Very pissed about it, but i barred the phone soon as i knew it was gone and reported it to the police so now just waiitng for the insurance to tell me if they can send me out a new one!

Now iam living with a old blackberry grrrrrrrrrr. not impressed

Wavesecure installed?

I think i had that but i know i needed to install another program to make it work..i only only rooted phone quite recent to villain 10...which was a great rom. i tried lookout thoe but cause ive changed my number after getting my hero, it would not locate the phone at all. somebody deffo has their hands on it, but its unuseable now...just hope the insurance dont act a ass about it cause i heard they dont like to replace anything.

Lost/stolen: same thing IMO. If youve lost it (other than dropping it in the sea or down a mineshaft) then its effectively been stolen anyway. Somebody has found it, and has decided to keep it for themselves rather than hand it in or try to contact you. That person is just as much thieving scum as somebody who lifted it from your pocket.

Can you use titanium backup to get all your apps back. Hope it all works out.
Shouldnt need titanium backup for this, paid apps are tied to your google account, not your phone.

What islandmixed should do, ASAP, is log onto google and change his password, before the person that's stolen the phone does it.

Same for facebook, email etc passwords.

but i know i needed to install another program to make it work
??? If youve installed wavesecure you shouldnt need any other program. Regardless, it cant hurt to go to the wavesecure website and see if you can find out where the phone is, and/or wipe/recover data and lock it down.

They already locked & barred the phone for me...after i knew the phone was gone, i done all this in the next hour so its fine...I dont have stored passwords on my phone so thats fine. At this point its just waiting to see if i can get a new one...& to the person who said it does not seem like it was stolen...i was at a damn till point with my phone in front of me, by the time i went into the next door i relized it was gone! meaning i put my phone n wallet down to pay etc, so it was deffo stolen right beneath me, iam still puzzed about it truss me, cause i aint careless but this shit happens, you dont loose your phone while your out shopping, was very weird to me how it went missing like that. The girls in the store was the ones i was suspecious about, they looked scarred when i asked if a phone was left right at the till point cause thats the last place i recall seeing it, dont ask me at this point where it went.
