Help Two things that I'm disappointed in with the X

The first and most important for me is the weak vibrate and the speaker volume. I find myself constantly having to check the phone to make sure I'm not missing anything.

The second is the Google image results. On the Droid, I was able to select a picture to make it larger. On this one I've found the only way to select a pic from results is to press and hold over the picture I want to enlarge, except that even then its the same size, only in a page of its own.

Has anyone found a cure for either of these two things? Or is it one of those things were just going to have to live with? All and all its a great phone. Just those two small things are really bugging me.

I hope so! They are so minor that I feel guilty even complaining about, but the vibrate especially is important in my line of work. I can't always have it on high just to be able to barely hear it. Vibrate is my friend when the Chief is around lol.

I agree with you about the speaker i use my phone for my alarm clock and its not loud at all wish it was louder hopefully they can fix this in an update

Yeah i slept through my alarm this morning. Also my keyboard doesn't always make the typing sound when i use it.

The keyboard sound is an option that can be disabled, so check that:

Settings > Language & Keyboard > Multi-touch keyboard > Sound on keypress (or vibrate or both).

As for the Alarm, change the sound to something louder:

Alarm & Timer > Select an alarm > Sound > Ringtones > Buzzer Alarm > OK
This is loud and will wake you up... :p

Maybe I'm the lucky one, but I have to turn my phone down because it's so loud.

If thats true, I hope its a software thing. I havent had to return any phones for any issues in about 5 years.

I'm in the same boat with the speaker. Its only when using the speaker while on the phone. Games, ringtones and music are fine. Havent tried any alarms.

I really like the Silent mode swipe feature that is there when the phone is locked. Anyone know though how to change it to vibrate mode, or any other shortcut to do so other than using the volume rocker?

Gosh I hope somebody knows how to do this!! I wish that the silent swipe put it to vibrate... Bleah.

I got a widget and put it on my main screen that switches between the three. Ringer Toggle Widget

However, if anybody knows how to do it from the lock screen that would be great!
