I loaded Baked Snack Beta 9.7 ROM last night and have nothing but good things to say. It's over clocked to 1113 using Set CPU. The overall phone runs extremely fast and smooth and I have not had any FC's or random reboots. I also score approximately 1 MFLOP higher than Fresh Rom 1.0.1. Bottom line I am very happy and I had never even heard of this ROM until yesterday.

Its a great rom. I loaded it last night and love it so far. Would like to see froyo on it also

I am too, but my battery life isn't as good as it was with the stock rooted ROM. But I believe it's due to the overclocking and maybe the unlocked FPS...hard to tell. And a few of us are having trouble with account sync giving FC's when going into it. I can manually check my mail, but it doesn't push it out. Even though I don't use it very often, Goggles is having FC issues as well. I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but I'm still getting an FC here too. Not expecting everything to be perfect, but those are the issues I'm seeing with it. Other than those, I really dig this ROM.

I, too got this ROM last night, and even though it's my first one, I'm truly amazed by it. It's so fast; I literally gasped when I first started scrolling around lol. I average about 51 fps, which is great, same 1113 overclock stat, and my battery is doing extremely well even though it's overclocked (although it is set to lower performance as the battery decreases, but using 600 MHz on this ROM is still faster than it was on the stock ROM). I used to get about 4-5 hours on heavy usage, but this phone has given me about seven hours or so. What used to be 30% drainage within an hour is now <20%, even with it overclocked.
I'm surprised I haven't seen this ROM's name floating around as much even though it's pretty awesome.

My mail is too, it's just not being pushed out. Are you able to access accounts & sync without getting a FC? That's why I not getting email pushed out I believe. If this can be fixed, I can deal with my battery issue and I'll be a very happy camper.
I honestly wish I could say that the battery life with this ROM on my device is doing well...but it's no better than before I rooted. I'm seeing the battery drop at a faster rate, than when I was on the stock rooted ROM. I'm going to give it more time, but system panel doesn't lie. My plot is showing a steady dive, but with the stock rooted ROM, it was more flat-lined. Now I am taking into consideration that I have been really doing more, but playing music from my SD card could go all day. However with this ROM, I dropped about 6-7% in a matter of minutes.
I'm going to give it some time and see how things pan out. I may flash kernel #3 if things don't improve.

^ Really? That's pretty sucky, but yeah...I've really actually noticed my battery's overall improvement, and not just the "Hey I got a new ROM, so it HAS TO be better!" mentality. Usually my phone slips about 10% within five minutes of coming off the charge (no kidding), and today it was still at 80% after being on it non-stop for almost an hour. Yesterday, before I flashed the ROM, my battery was draining at an average of 1% every two minutes, and today it's been wonderful, truly wonderful. I'm about to run Cyanogen, and I can only hope it's as good.

^I don't know...this is what makes flashing ROM's interesting, lol. Just glad I have a choice. Drop a word on what you get with Cyanogen too.
Oh and over on XDA, people are claiming a 6% drop at about 6hrs...are they using the device, lol? I see that when my device is sitting on my dresser charging overnight, but certainly not with daytime use. Before This ROM, the day before I played music from 9am with a break during lunch until around 4ish and hovered at about 59%...and boy was I happy! I was feeling like I could go 24hrs on a charge...of course that's before I flashed a new ROM, lol.

Well, I said the hell with this ROM, it was giving way to many problems. My battery life really dipped and I was getting too many FC's. Thankfully, I backed up my old stock rooted ROM and was able to restore it via ROM manager...easy peasy. Anyhow, I guess I'll just window shop for now, until a good bug free rooted Froyo ROM drops

My battery is more efficient when using the phone.
However, my battery drains 20-30% overnight because I live in an area that doesn't receive proper cell coverage. I'm up in the mountains and I have either no serivce or 50% service. When I go to better coverage areas, my battery life is amazing and overnight, I only see 5% battery drop.

it's not recommended to go below 245 because this actually causes your cpu to struggle, in turn draining more power.

I installed this a few days ago with Kernel 2, after setting the cpu to the max (i think 1.14?) and the minimum as low as you can go (i think 128) it was rocking and rolling all day long. Great battery life too. However, in the evening it starting going through a boot loop and I couldn't open the cpu widget to change the setting. So I reflashed the rom and I'm keeping the minimum at 245 and I'm not overclocking anymore than 1.03 for now.

I wish I got 6% drop at 6 hours, but mine is pretty damn good on the nightly CM6... 30% drop over 9.5 hours so far. Phone is being used light-moderately. I wanted to try Baked Snack but it didn't look too much different than stock, but I'll give it a try sometime just to say I did. It's one of the few I haven't tried yet!

I'm on Fresh 1.0.1 with kernel #26 overclocked at 1075 to underclocked at 245. Today, I took it off the charger at 6:30am and only plugged in to use Sprint Nav to get to a place for lunch, then off the charger. And I used the hell out of my phone (phone calls, lots of email, youtube vids, lots of sms, about 2hrs of web surfing and listening to music) and managed to still have 30% left at 4ish. I consider that a good day, lol.
