Date you ordered and received the phone vs. "will ship by" date

This is kind of a rolling group. People get their phones and get off and new folks order and get on. Great system! Now I'm getting on . . .

Ordered mine online on 7/21. The icon on the phone said would ship by 8/3 but the e-mail just said it would ship when available. I called CS on Friday and they said I was due for 8/3 but would ship sooner if inventory allowed. Now I'm waiting with the rest of the group - impatiently.

Another 7/16 order here who got shipment notification/tracking notice today! Tracking says it shipped today (?) but expected delivery is Tuesday. Supposed to be standard overnight shipping, so maybe I will see it tomorrow!

Just a little excited... soon I can get rid of this clunky WinMo phone!

My tracking number doesn't go through with fedex yet so I can't check my delivery date

When checking the Fedex tracking mine say's picked up today and estimated delivery of Wednesday with FedEx 2Day Service. I seriously doubt it's been picked up on a Sunday so I don't expect it'll actually be picked up until tomorrow. It'll be coming from Memphis to Asheville. Can't wait!

Fedex does pickup on Sundays. They just don't deliver on Sundays.

I got my ship confirmation email for the phone I ordered online on 7/15. Fedex hasn't updated their website with the tracking number yet so delivery date is unknown. I was very surprised to have gotten this email on a Sunday.

YAY! I've been reading this forum obsessively for a month now, and now I can join the club of almost-Incredible-owners.

I waited to order until the dates started moving earlier because I hate nothing more than waaaaiiiiitttting. Three weeks seemed manageable, though. And now it's only going to be two!

I'm a bit nervous about the delivery method, though. If delivery goes through USPS, which is common in my area, it will take an extra day and be delivered at 10 am, and sit on my stoop until I get home at 5:30 in the evening. BUT if it's delivered by FedEx, it will arrive right when I get home!

Also, as far as FedEx updating their site: I commonly have things arrive at my house BEFORE FedEx registers them as having shipped from the supplier. I asked about this once, and it turns out that FedEx and UPS often only scan a few items per shipment. Thus, if your item isn't one of the lucky ones to be scanned, it can show up as not-in-the-system, even thought it's about to be delivered at your house. This happens to me A LOT.

I order from Amazon all the time and I'm too cheap to pay extra for express delivery so everything gets shipped via USPS. The last shipment took 11 days coming from Arizona to New York. They've never lost anything being sent to me, it just takes a long time to get to my doorstep. What your experiencing isn't unusual.

Thanks gvillager, I did not know that as a USPS employee that my phone would be shipped via US Mail.
All I can do for now is wait for the tracking number to show up and wait and see what day it will be delivered.
I've talked to the carrier and she will keep an eye out for me and give me a call the day she has it on the truck

My Incredible is at the local FedEx facility. It has an estimated delivery date of 7/27. Any chance I'll get it today? Have others gotten their before the FedEx date, or do they stay true to that date?

Very impatient, so I'm wishful thinking....

If it's at the local facility you'll be getting it today. FedEx won't keep a package sitting around the warehouse just because it's estimated delivery date is the next day.

What I think is funny is that, even though my phone was picked up on Sunday AND is being shipped Standard Overnight, it is still sitting in Memphis. I was almost hoping that it would show up today, but really doubt it now... So even though they pick up on Sunday, it doesn't count as a "day" for the shipping process.

This is almost worse than waiting without any shipping confirmation!
