If you are running Fresh's Beta3 Updated ROM, he has included the fix for missing "protected" apps in the market. Digital Clock Widget falls in that category because I updated and now see Digital Clock Widget in the market. It was missing from Beta 2.

Of course you have to be a donor to Fresh (which I recommend) to get access to the early ROMs. He should be releasing his official Froyo ROM to the general public soon.

the protected apps are apparently not showing up because it's 2.2. i'm thinking this issue will be resolved by the time the official update gets released.

regarding the Fresh ROM, Fresh 2.1 was unstable for me. tried a few ROMs until getting to Damage Control which works flawlessly. i'm waiting for final build of 2.2 to drop and only then will i go to a stock rooted 2.2. after, DC should be finished, and i'm also interested in the s3vo ROM.

i like all the kinks and bugs to be worked out before i jump to something new. less frustrating.

What apps let you show the time and battery info as text?

<noob question>

could someone please layout the settings on getting switchpro to have the "dots" instead of looking like the stock radio controls with the bar at the bottom, i have to be missing something trivial because i cant figure out how to do this for the life of me.... lol

when you open up the widget, it's the first item at the top where it says Select Background - choose No Background

im sure everyone has froyo at this time, can some tell me how to keep launcher pro as my default. since froyo, when i hit the home key it returns to the store screen, thanks for all help.

Go into settings, manage applications, and HTC Sense. Clear defaults. Then click home and it will give you the option to choose which application to use for your home button.
