Toca 2 touring cars works reasonably well on samsung gs with the odd lock up.

Frames=8
sound=8
grapics= 6

For some reason the graphics are very jagged? They look like snes grapics tbh!

Ok, so, found it and downloaded it. Unecm'd then converted to PBP. Loaded right up with no dragging. Sound was so far the best I've heard on any ROM (no "popping" noises or "scratchy" noises). Everything seemed very very fluid.

On that note though, I've never even heard of this game or played it so I had no idea what to expect. I couldn't really do anything besides set my base, rotate the earth, etc etc. Beyond that, I didn't know what TO do.

That said, I'd say:

Graphics: 9 (looked like it should, I assume)
Sound: 10 (sounded crisp on my phone)
Frames: 9 (I guess? I'm horrible at this rating thing, lol, but it didn't glitch or snag or drag at all!)

can you check to see if you can get to the funding menu without freezing up. Also can you enter the base and try to purchase something through the buy/sell menu?

The way you can enter the funding menu is by hitting select x2, and you should be able to select the side menu. To buy something in the base, first select the base, then select buy/sell, then go to the item you want to buy and use right and left key to increase or decrease the item to buy.

Command and Conquer red alert allied disc works perfect, and file size is only like 14mb after compressed with icedtea :cool:

So far NHL 99, 2000, and 2001 dont work

All working great (played for about 15+ minutes each) with no problems. Only problem with any of them is Diablo, since there isn't enough buttons! I need R2/L2 or I can't access my inventory or other important menus.

Crusaders of Might and Magic

Only game out of about 15 I've tried that did not work. Loaded to front "splash" screen but wouldn't go past that..

I found this forum browsing the web and searching google, now I'm using google translator and I joined the forum because I need to know how to use this application on my Samsung i5700 Galaxy, the problem I have is that when I start any game (whether format. bin, or. iso, or eboot.pbp not find any way of running game. The screen goes black and the application exits. ask in another forum told me that he could be in the "ROM" that I have in my mobile phone, but ultimately found no solution. So my question is: Is it compatible px4droid galaxy in my samsung i5700? What version of firmware, ROM and / or version of android need? What else do I need to To use psx4droid and games are compatible format?

has anyone gotten any japanese games to work? the emulator doesnt even try to run policenauts when i load it up. im just wondering if this is because of the game or it just doesnt work on any NTSC-J games.

i think your phone is capable, have you already loaded the correct bios in the menu before trying any games?

Tomb Raider the Last Revelation not working on my stock HTC Incredible. Ripped the iso from my disc using alcohol 52%. Loaded the full, uncompressed iso it loaded past the start screen, then loaded approx 90% and got stuck. I then compressed the iso using icetea with the same results. So far TR2 and TRLR both will not load into a playable state. Anyone else tried any tomb raider games? If so, any success?

Tomb Raiders are my fav PSX games, although I realize they will be VERY tough to play with the onscreen controls. Part of my reason for possibly switching to the Droid X is to be able to play TR games using a BT gamepad. But if TR games don't load/arent playable anyway, what's the point?

Has anybody else tried guardians crusade? After I sleep at an inn, a battle is supposed to initiate to decide who's mayor, according to a walkthrough. All that happens is I can repeatedly sleep at the inn.

if, of course, and install the correct bios without problems, but anyway. When I open a game the screen goes black for a few seconds, as if you were to start but then returns to the menu psx4droid. I think they said I needed to do a "overclock" the phone, so that the processor run faster, but really do not know how, and another thing I do know is that I am "root" for the use of any application that requires access "root"

I've just tried a few games and they seem to run ok but the sound is really bad on some.

Is this something that can be fixed on future updates of psx4droid or is it the roms themselves that are causing the problem?

Dope roms has a ton of ROMS that are easy to download. Use an unecm program and WinRar. Its really easy. Been playing: Twisted Metal. Resident Evil. Vagrant Story. FF7. Crash Bandicoot 2. Crash Bandicoot Warped. Wipeout. Love this app!!!

Tomb raider games are not working. I own TR1-2. Ripped them into bins..isos...pbp...they just are not working yet. Maybe in a future update...

Some how I managed to get Crash bandicoot warped onto my evo, sound is scratchy and is not normal speed.

I cannot figure out this crap. I get the roms and i go through winzip , and some how it is still a winzip file.... do I really need to become a computer programmer or what? this SUCKS

Same for me....... And the tr games are the main reason I got psx4 droid in the first place. I expect future updates may remedy the situation. Hopefully.

Just want to report in. I finally got Froyo 2.2 (the leak unoffical HTC version) on my Evo. Currently the Linpack score: 40+.

I loaded up X-Com UFO, and Warcraft 2, and Grand Turismo 2 on it. The results:

X-Com: still laggy, but seem to crash less (as in not crash yet in 5 minute play), but still very hard to play with the lag, but better then 2.1.
Warcraft 2: still randomly crashes, while there is work around (save often, and use mission load codes), the crashes still distract from the experiences.
Grand Turismo 2: Run faster in 2.2, ~80% speed vs ~50% speed in 2.1, but still not full speed, but more enjoyable due to speed increase. (note with more cars in screen, the slower the game gets)

I was hoping for better result for my 2.2 Evo, like uoY_redruM was reporting. But I guess Nexus one runs psx4Droid better due to smaller screen, and no sense UI.

However there is hope. 1) Maybe developer will update the app soon, with faster performance and less game crash bugs. 2) The 2.2 version I am using is not the final version, so hopefully the final release version of Froyo for Evo will be even more optimized, and have performance matching Nexus One.

Only time will tell, but for now i am still envious of uoY_redruM.

Just an FYI if you like FFB

the game plays perfectly (except the world map is godawful slow) until you have to pilot balamb garden. For some reason balamb garden cant go onto land so you'll be stuck at sea.

im pissed because i'm 20 hours in now and cant do a thing

EDIT: okay after transferring my savegame to the computer and moving the garden up the beach and transferring back my Dinc... (cant move the garden on land it gets stuck while on psx4droid) theres another problem with the game closing out while visiting edea's house
