Stuck to my guns. My Behold II replaced with Samsung Vibrant

Well apparently this email strategy does work. I sent Mr. Dotson an email last Friday and hadn't heard anything back from the executive customer service team, so I emailed him again this morning. A couple of minutes ago my hubby called me and said he'd just spoken to a lady from T-Mobile who will be sending me a new Vibrant :)

Everybody like I said, attempt this with patience and you will end up with the prize. Whatever you do, do not give up. As long as you fight for it, you will earn it. I am a good example of that ;)

Edit: and as a reminder, the best approach is emailing. However, it seems for the easiest route, if you get Octavio or Maria, you will most likely get it much easier than other representatives. Ralph will be tougher ;). Btw, most importantly show your hatred of the Behold II by being persistent.

Well I finally decided to email myself and see if I can get some help from them - I think once they start doing it for some, they have to do it for other people, and I'm pissed off right now b/c my wife could not get ahold of me tonight. I dropped the "I'm a lawyer" shit (true story) on them and will post back whatever I hear. If I'm successful I will post my email if anyone is interested. Wish me luck, folks!

Oh, what did T-mobile do to piss you off that much? I mean I know we are all pissed, but I think being annoying to them with persistence is easier than a lawsuit.

I totally agree about persistence being most effective - I've just become completely pissed off about the BH2 after many months of trying to make it okay. I don't mean I suggested I'd try to sue them, just that I thought that peoples' complaints about this phone had merit and that I was familiar with the situation and not really inclined to negotiate - in other words, that that I am prepared to switch carriers if they don't work with me. I just don't want to get into a lot of back and forth with them; we both know the deal. That's all.

Hmmm yeah I feel yeah, I had to email many times. I got pissed at Ralph for offering the same thing in the two instances I talked to him on the phone. Then, I sent a new email to Robert Dotson's email stating that Ralph "was a great listener" but.. I wish to have someone else on the case as Ralph seemed to not have the power to help me even if he wanted to. I think that sparked it lol.

Well reading up above, seems like things worked out pretty good for you - glad to hear it! Actually, people like you telling how T-Mobile eventually took care of you is what persuaded me to do something myself. I really appreciate you all sharing how you eventually got help from people, so people such as myself can try to do the same. I hope it works out for me - I don't have insurance on the phone, but to me it's not about that. They need to do this for PR and to acknowledge that they shouldn't eff up again like they did by letting the BH2 through. So I guess we'll see. If they are willing to offer me an exchange, I'm very torn about the Vibrant/Galaxy S ... such a bad experience with Samsung on the BH2, but it seems like a different story.
