This got me really excited until I realized I didn't have LED Light installed. But thank you anyway.

I get "android.process.acore" errors, where you get a popup telling you to force it to close.
This happens on first touch after power on (whether it is immediately, or you let the phone power on, lock and then unlock it).
It's then on the first time time you touch the notification bar, and in some applications (HTC Peep, People, Sesmic).
Haven't seen anyone else report it, but I'm an Australian user with a UK purchased 3week old desire. Stock condition, I haven't even got aorudn to replacing the 4Gb Sd card.
- On 2.1 when I was receiving a call I had two buttons (red - decline, green - accept). With 2.2 this changed to a bar which I swipe down to accept or up to decline. Today, it suddenly, on its own, switched to buttons, then after a while switched back to the bar. Didn't do anything, didn't reset the phone.
Everything working fine for me except that co pilot 8 now seems to freeze after about 40 mins of operation.
Any ideas?
Simon.
Nope. [and both gps and wifi are off]
People (contacts) - I used to be able to enter a contact then tap on the top bar showing the picture and name. It would bring me to choose which name (of all linked contacts) I want to choose to be displayed (this didn't work too well on 2.1 as it sometimes kept switching back on its own), or tap the image and choose the image I want to use (of all available from linked contacts, FB, Gmail etc). This now longer works.
Hi Guys, i rooted my 02 htc desire so i can download the froyo 2.2 update. I can Download the update fine when i check for it on my phone, but my phone wont let me install the update, it comes up with a red question mark, does anybody know whats wrong?
Any help appreciated.
I still get these otions after I go into a contact and select the Linked icon in the top right-hand corner.
I have an unbranded, factory unlocked HTC Desire and really wish I hadn't updated to 2.2! Its a slower version of 2.1 IMO
1) 720p recording is pointless because the framerate is so low.
2) Calendar syncing seems messed up now, every once in a while, I get a syncing error with it.
3) The most irritating bug for me is in the web browser, scrolling normal web pages is much more laggy. It feels like I'm using the ipod touch V1! Browsing mobile wap sites isnt much of an issue
4) Company Directory still shows up 0 contacts
5) The compass on the maps is no where near accurate anymore
If you haven't got the update, don't worry, I would say keep 2.1!
PS - I've done a few factory resets to see if that would fix the issues, but it hasn't.
Change your SD card if you have class 2, HD video is perfectly work in class 6. class 2 doesn't support well for HD video.
He also provides a workaround, but this does not appear to restart the auto sync, rather it just forces one sync then and there.Ethan the Google Mobile Help employee said:Hi folks,
Thanks for your reports. We're right now looking into a general issue affecting the ability of additional accounts to auto-sync on some HTC devices with the latest version of the Android firmware.
To summarize what you've been reporting, this means if you have a device such as the HTC EVO 4G or HTC Desire, and you've recently updated your firmware to version 2.2, then auto-sync may only work for one account on your device -- the 'primary' account -- and not for any subsequent accounts you may have added to your phone.
In the meantime, you can still use Gmail on these devices with your additional account(s), but you'll have to manually check for new mail (Press <Menu>, then select Refresh).
We're in touch with HTC on this issue, and I'll be sure to update this post when I have news to share.
Regards,
Ethan
For those having problems with push Gmail on accounts other than the primary account, Google have acknowledged the problem and are in discussions with HTC.

Hopefully they'll find a fix soon as it is a pretty serious flaw for this type of phone.
The only thing thats really missing is the privacy section at the settings, where backup used to be standing? anyone knows where its gone ??
Anyone know how to see only those apps stored on the phone rather than SD card?
With Froyo on my sim free Desire, I've moved a couple of apps to the SD card (which helps a lot- I don't need to unistall so many when loading new apps). However, in the 'Manage apps' option I can see either:
1) all apps (SD card and on phone)
2) all apps on the SD card.
There isn't an option (as far as I can see) to list only those apps that are on the phone. That would be handy because those are the ones I need to decide whether to keep or remove (not every app has been updated yet to allow it to be moved to the SD card).
Has anyone found where this is hiding? I can't check my backup settings anymore!!
