The mail app installed fine but it has problems adding an exchange server. It gets all the way to the end and gives an error. Got any ideas on how to fix?

Not sure if its rom specific or just crappy email app specific.

is the patch to change vm heapsize to 32M built into this rom? Been running your 2nd Wave ROM (fantastic, by the way), but want to try out the Vanilla Android experience.

I'm getting this failure message when I try to install this rom.
e :can't symlink /system/bin/bug report Then it says failure in line 7.

Did a wipe + cache as usual. I'm stumped. any thoughts? I've installed your other ROMs without any problems.

That sounds like a corrupt download. Whats the MD5? I will compare with the original.

I downloaded from the first post on this thread, then transfered to the root of sd card via a data cable. I tried this three times, using fresh downloads each time.

Might save yourself some money if you try this software instead -
City Caller ID (free old app - same as payware CityID) - xda-developers

Free and does the same thing. Just not sure if it works on 2.2 ROMs as I haven't tested it (haven't even given 2.2 a shot yet o_O

Ah, thanks for the link, I was looking for that. The reason I wanted it is because I like the functionality and with clearing the program data every two weeks I was using it for free.

Edit: Can't get city caller id working for whatever reason, so you if you don't mind adding a patch with city id I would really appreciate it.

I am having a time replacing the WiFi tether with the non-adhoc n capable apk. It will replace it only till reset.

Now to see if it works, but I will have to wait till this evening. I have yet to see one that doesn't show up as Adhoc. My wife's blackberry is a good test cause it can't do adhoc but can do wifi only on ap. If I can share with her I can share with anything and then if I get a wifi ereader I have data connect where ever I have my phone. The main reason AP is important to me really.

Thanks. With all the help you have been I believe I owe you a six pack. By the way with this ROM (and I believe it is this one I kind of got lost following all of them but I think this one is the one on the thread that was started last, Whew, which is the one I have installed) I am getting enough extra battery to make it most of the day with GPS enabled and everything else running normally. Twidroyd is my biggest battery drainer so far, even wifi tether didn't use up much battery at all.

I am using Home++. I tend to like it better and actually it was all I used on my Droid I was thrilled to be able to use it on my Incredible without having all the senseless Sense crap running as well. So for that I am very grateful.
