Every once in a while, I decide to go try out the Froyo ROMs, just to see how they are running. I put kaos.froyo on my phone, and it is just crawling along. It's like when I had the original 2.1 on there without root. And that's overclocked to 748 with JIT on. Was on White Widow 4.6 and decided to make a move, because my gps was constantly sticking in the middle of navigating.

Can someone just rip bluetooth voice dialing out and put it in a 2.1 ROM? I don't see any other perk to Froyo.

Yes, you can. There is a 2.1 ROM that has Flash 10.1 as well. Not sure how well it works, but I saw it as a highlighted feature of that ROM.

Every user has a diff op of what they think about a ROM. For me, KaosFroyo has taken out all lag that I ever had with any 2.1 ROM. Such as dialer lag, dialing, texting, etc. Battery life is about the same, just maybe under 5% worse but I have added more to it than I had in 2.1 ROMS. I do recommend removing ADW and using LPP as it makes it feel like sense is enabled. And my great theme added to it makes it even better, lol.
