Starcraft 2

Need some pointers?

Would be nice! haha

I played the hell out of the original Starcraft, but I only played it on SP (Was there even a MP option back then? I don't remember, I was only like 10... lol) so I am new to the MP option with this series. It think I have figured out a method to winning, but haven't tried it yet. It seems, though, that players prefer the "quick and dirty" approach to winning. Instead of building their bases, they just train a bunch of "goons" and send them off to keep the other person busy while they train even more "goons" by doing this, the other play doesn't have a chance to build, and instead are too busy warding off the little minions that were sent to do just that...

Yeah, the original Starcraft did have MP. The same as you are able to play currently in SC2. That's exactly how you play it. You build up a few ground units to keep your enemy busy. Get to their base, destroy the SCVs and maybe damage up their command center a bit. All the while, still continuing to build stronger ground/air units. It's the first who attacks that will win in most cases.

PS: It's always good to play cooperative so you can learn the inner workings of each race before playing ranked quick matches.

bump, played a few levels last night, game is sweet, so sad it took blizzard 12 years to remake it and three years to do it after they announced it. I still am kind of pissed off that they scrapped the starcraft ghost game that they had started working on.

whats nice is that i dont have by any means a gaming rig, but that this game will still play nice on my laptop. :)

Finally done with the single player, I must say I'm very very pleased with the storyline and the epic last battles. Man, I was throughoutly pleased to be honest.

I also had my first 2vs2 league match today and man, me and my mate crushed them! Woooop!

I can't beat that damn Tosh mission where you have to infultrate the prison on Normal... It's annoying lol...

Ah, those jailbreaking missions is just great. I did the opposite of NYC, what I tried to do was just stay out of stealth. Use Reynor's medics to keep my life up and use EMP a lot on the opposite unit as I moved in and took out the stealth dectector.

But this mission pretty much flows on you, you can take the all time you need to do it. ;)
