I ordered a X for me and a DInc for the wife on 8/12. We got emails saying the order was fulfilled and was shipped on 8/13 and will be delivered tomorrow. The emails didn't have any way I could tell if this included both phones or just one of them (likely the DInc) The shipping weight of the package was listed at 2 lbs. which doesn't help either.

Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow and see what the package holds.

If it's 2 pounds, it's just the DInc...Looks like you'll be waiting a bit longer for the X :D

this about made me pee my pants! i ordered the 12th as well early in the morning and this makes me very hopeful!

i got free overnight shipping ordering online so crossing my fingers i get it wed or thurs!

some people just get lucky and get the right CS person right away. it seems as though the majority are just saying "it will ship......" when they have no idea. don't be discouraged! :)

I don't know about gunderda, but I am trying to stay optimistic despite the fact that people who ordered at the same time or afterward are already getting their phones. That is the frustrating part. I dont think its a case of impatience. I believe it is more a case of wanting equality of service.

How did you get it online for such an odd price. The current price online with 2 year activation shows 199? I got mine for 99 dollars because as the primary line I got an extra 100 off.

BTW, when I ordered mine last month the expected ship date was 8/3 but they shipped it on 7/28. Those expected ship dates are just estimates as far as I am concerned.

Since I ordered about that time, it was probably an expected ship date around the 22nd, 23rd, 24th, something like that.

They gave you an expected ship date. That's when you should expect your phone. Earlier than that is a bonus.

All of the entitlement in this thread is really sad. You aren't entitled to anything but what Verizon told you that you'd get. Anything else is simply an unexpected benefit.

No you don't understand this is my 3rd time trying to get it because the past 2 times my order got canceled so i had to place my orders again, and i think its not fair for me to have to order the phone 3 times and wait to get until the 25th.

Well, when I look on Amazon the shipping weight of the X is 10.4 oz and the Dinc is 13.6 oz so the Verizon email showing a shipping weight of 2 lbs could definitely be both phones plus the cardboard box to hold them.........at least that's what I'm desperate to believe. Or it could just be some general made up shipping weight and it is only the Dinc coming tomorrow. I guess I'll be sitting here hoping for another 24 hours. :(

i'm only asking this because it's hard for me to keep track of who said what in this thread, but have you called CS? since some people have ran into issues of VZW cancelling their order without notice. hope nothing is wrong with your order!

i'm probably jinxing my order and won't receive it till next week lol

Verizon totally hates me too! I've only called twice (at like 9 and 12 today) and while the people I've talked to have been nice, all they said was that the phone would probably ship on the 25th :rolleyes: I ordered on the night of the 9th so I'm scandalized larry is getting his so quickly! :p Luckyyyyyy

I wouldn't call more than once a day, and only if you have to. I'm doing my best to call every other day. I called yesterday, so I'm going to call tomorrow since the phone should be shipping by then. If it hasn't then I'll be on the phone and able to do some yelling right then and there if need-be.

If you call too much they may make a note on your account in case you decide to keep calling. Just don't overdo it. :p

Good thinking lol I hope I don't have to call again though. Because if the phone hasn't even shipped by Wednesday that would suck.

I do check the online order status thing and my mom's email multiple times a day though D: Not that it helps D:

Quick question: I ordered two of them (for me and the wife) from a Verizon storefront. They gave me a ship date of 8/26. By the way, the sales rep said "it says they have 26,000 in stock at the warehouse."

Will I get an email notification (I pay my bills and all through the Verizon site, so they have my email info) of when it ships or is that only for those who ordered online?

You're supposed to get an electronic notification of some sort when it's shipped, yes, but not everyone has. This is partly why some of us have been calling up VZW CS day in and day out to make sure that we're updated on the status of our orders.

If you order online, the only, "extra," notification that you really receive is an instant notification when your order is processed. That's just for when the order itself has fully gone through and it's on it's way to being shipped. It hasn't been processed to ship at that point.

I had $50 discount for the NE2, as well as the instant rebate. I then used promo code WEBCH10 to receive (supposed to be 10%) but $15.00 off my order.
Then taxes and (I think) insurance.

[FONT=&quot]Finally got email confirmation saying it shipped today and is shipping Next Day Air and it should be here tomorrow! Can't wait to get rid of AT&T!!!!! Only thing is I have to drive across town tomorrow night to pick it up at UPS as I won't be home during the day. :( At least the end is in sight now![/FONT] [FONT=&quot][/FONT]
