I took a number of pictures at a party and when I went to review them made an interesting discovery. I was pinching to zoom and my fingers rotated slightly while I was talking and noticed my photo rotated too. Has anyone else noticed this?

Just tried it on min... works great! Sure beats having to rotate via the options when getting them formatted for facebook.

I've used it in both the camera app and the stand alone gallery app. However, I've noticed that it doesn't work if you're zoomed in.

You have to use TWO FINGERS(or a finger and a thumb 
) to make them rotate! One finger will do nothing but get you the next or previous picture.

It does not, "snap back," for me. I can rotate pictures in either direction just fine on my DX. Thanks for the tip.

thanks for the tip!Are you talking a full 90/180 degree rotation? That works, but partial rotations do not work. (Which I was talking about.)
Looks like this also works in froyo as well. (I think I really like the new gallery improvements as well.)

I never expected partial rotations to work and it doesn't surprise me that it doesn't. I personally can't remember a time when I've seen that on a device. I would imagine it would just get in the way anyway. I'd want to see an image sitting on its side but couldn't because the application wouldn't automatically adjust the image's position.
So no, partial rotations do not work and never have as far as I know.
