A hardware keyboard is just a matter of personal preference. Also, reviewers are saying the hardware keyboard is of very high build quality and is one of the better HW qwertys out there. Some even compared it to the TP2's keyboard. The phone is priced at $249 because you're getting features the Evo doesn't have: vibrant SAMOLED screen, faster processor, faster gpu, gyroscope, 16gb sd, HW keyboard, better camcorder/camera, and dlna wireless streaming.

its simple as this....ive owned the Instinct (Trash), HTC Touch Pro (loved it), Moment (brick in my pocket, never really used the keyboard, unless i was fussing with my gal). Now i have the EVO.... yes this may be my 2nd one.... i am having no problems at all. This has to be the best phone ive had....The Epic oooooooo has better screen for movies..... Dude i have my 61" with blueray for that. This is a phone an a phone only. Samsung phone may have nice guts, they always gone have cheap frame... Oh yea... i forgot they suck with updates.....ok im done.....

Screen separation, light leakage, recessed/crack power buttons, dust underneath the screen. Yeah, these are just a few of the quality control issues that have plagued this device. I'll probably get flamed for this post but I don't care because if you went through 3-4 phones in 3 months you'd be disgruntled, too.

And the EVO is $199 for new contracts and been out longer than the other two Galaxy S phones which are now $0.01 for new contracts. :eek:

I am waiting for a HTC EVO 4G(white) from best buy. My question is, if I preorder the epic now will I get it on launch day? Also, I used to have an HTC Hero and it was one of the best phones ive ever owned! What I also like about the EVO is the modding community and how you can root it. I know the epic isnt out yet but will Flipz be developing for the EPIC? Because I absolutely need Fresh ROMS on my new phone. Also I saw some post saying that the EPIC is 6 months newer than the EVO.....how can this be? Didnt the evo JUST come out? :thinking: I have also read (on the epic forums) that the EPICs camera is better....those forums are biased and the people over there seem to be more children then over here...;)thats just my speculation though. I just need help deciding, I am getting the EVO for $75...is the screen really worth it? (EPIC's screen). Also what is all this frame rate issue talk?

EPIC FAIL for EPIC HUGE because people want the EVO not an EPIC. 1 out of every 10 people calling the Sprint Store ask about the EPIC. A sales rep said he asked people if they wanted an EPIC instead, they say what is that? And no thx, I want an EVO....LOL

And what is the bleeping point of this thread and why are you here in the Evo section instead of the Epic section.
