God, I'm so tired of this crap. It's not really about the phone, how many times do I have to say this for people to understand? Yes I want it, but look at what's happening with the shipping.
I'm sorry I care that someone can buy their phone after me and get theirs sooner even though their ship-by date is the same or even later than mine.
Now you know precisely how I have been feeling. Some of the people who are, "countering," our arguments, (not all of you. many of you have perfectly fair and decent things to say) simply ignore our real message and the point that we're trying to get across. It almost seems as though they skim our messages and automatically assume that we're simply complaining about a long wait. When the truth is that we're discussing something more complex and specific than that.
While this seems to be a common perception, I can't find anything that actually says orders would be shipped in any particular sequence. Is there somewhere that Verizon states that orders will be filled on a 'first come, first served' basis?
No, as far as I can tell, there is nothing that explains how they ship this product out to their customers. That's exactly the problem. That's what we've been bitching about. They tell us what is probably some of the most vague info they can give us, and then they let us wait it out while sitting in the dark. If someone from Verizon or Motorola can actually come out and give us sound reasons as to why this whole situation is out of whack, I would instantly stop complaining about the matter. I just want some damn answers at the very least, not necessarily straight up results.
When potential factors like these are added to the supply chain factors, there are a multitude of variations in the potential process relevant to different orders. Directly comparing order dates and shipping dates for orders is really only relevant if you know that all the potential factors were the same for all orders involved.
We've already commented on and discussed the fact that mostly likely none of us can know further potential factors in relation to shipping and processing procedures. This has already been brought up repeatedly, and dismissed just the same. Please stop referring to it because we all understand it.
It is part of the problem. We don't know the procedures. Either they need to give us some basic information on those procedures, (while still keeping it small so that competitors can't gain anything useful from it) or they need to simply explain to us why some of these things are happening the way that they are.
1.) We do not know what is going on or why it is happening the way that it is.
2.) We want
someone to tell us
something about what is going on or why it is happening the way that it is.
3.) We do
not care if it's Verizon or Motorola that tells us what is going on or why it is happening the way that it is.
We want someone to ****ing clue us in already. Some actual results would be nice, but that's not what I'm asking for. I just want a decent answer as to why this whole situation is messed up. Neither Verizon, nor Motorola, seem to be wanting to give anyone a straight answer. It's like we're asking children if they know what they did wrong, and they look away to the side with a guilty look on their face because they don't want to answer. It pisses me off and there doesn't appear to be any real reason for it.
