Has anyones GPS been out of wack lately?

On the Belt parkway west in Brooklyn right after the Gowanas Canal - specifically while driving the GPS thinks I'm on the streets rather than the highway? As in it thinks I'm on 3rd avenue but I'm actually on the highway. It keeps telling me to turn left and right when I'm on the highway going straight. Everything else works right but the GPS has been a little off. That's all.

Anyone else, what do you think?

Thanks:thinking:

Take the phone hold it like a matchbox car screen up and drive it around in a figure 8 pattern for 5-10 seconds, kind of quickly. I know it looks funny, but this is not a joke. And no, you do not have to make vroom, vroom sounds when you do it :). This is suppose to recalibrate the compass I am not sure about the GPS but I am sure that they work together. Also did you know that if you have a case that you put your phone in and if it has a magnet closure you will have to reset your compass everytime you go to use it. I did have my GPS mess up like this but I didn't need to recalibrate it. I finally just noticed it was off (or something) because after 2-5 minutes it fixed itself.

OK so it didn't work.

It seems EVERYWHERE my Dinc doesn't realize it's elevated. Meaning if I'm on an elevated highway, it still thinks I'm on the street. This happens on the Belt Parkway, BQE, etc. I am driving and tells me to make lefts and rights on local streets that are below me. Otherwise it works fine.

Any suggestions??
