There are also multiple ways to make the same things. ie. 2 separate ways to make zombie. I made a zombie without ever making a corpse but it looks like it's a longer process than the one listed above. My zombie is:

zombie=fossil+life
fossil=dinosaur+earth
dinosaur=egg+earth
egg=life+stone
stone=lava+air
lava=earth+fire
life=energy+swamp
energy=air+fire
swamp=earth+water

So z=[(e+{[(a+f)+(e+w)]+[a+(e+f)]})+e]+[(a+f)+(e+w)]

Have fun putting that one together!

Well, now I have 7 elements, which I do understand the meaning of, but I was unable to create them in Alchemy, and this is where I ask you guys to give me HINTS (no solutions, just hints, please)

penicillin
stake
steamer
sushi
Totoro
turtle
zoo

Those are my "not found yet" elements... Except for Totoro (is this about the manga ? or the city ?), I think I know what they mean, but I just don't find them.

For example, Sushi, I assume it's made with fish... but mixed it with a lot of elements, never found the one.

Zoo, probably livestock, but again, not sure and never found its pair.

Stake ? Is it about religion ?
Penicillin ? Does the scientist have something to do with that ? It was originally discovered by one who left a Petri Dish open while on vacation, came back, had penicillin... but the Petri Dish has a star, so... The mushroom maybe ? Bread ? aaarrrghh

Anyway... I'm sure some of you have shared the same frustration, some of you may have cheated, I don't want to... But if I could have some hints...

A Stake is a sharpened stick
Penicillin, you are on the right track, what did penicillin originally come from?
a steamer is a type of ship.
Totoro does indeed refer to the manga
Sushi is kind of screwy, think of what it is usually wrapped in, I know there isn't an element for that, but there is something similar.
Turtle, where do baby sea turtles come from? (that is probably too much info)
Zoo is where people go to view animals on exhibit.

You're on the right track for penicillin, just think of how it was invented.
Stake is the wooden type and Totoro is a manga character with a leaf on his head.
The zoo is not made with livestock and the sushi is definitely fishy.

Yah ! Got the Stake and the Sushi now... how didn't I think of that earlier about the Sushi... the worse is I did think about how it's rapped, just didn't try the right stuff

Just got my update. I had 268/270. Had no idea what 2 I was missing. Now I have 268/300. One of my suggestions was actually used. Haha. AWESOME!!!

Finally got the Zoo

took me some time to figure out the "exhibit" reference PridgNYC made.

I don't care, I'm not updating until I find those 4 first

Anymore hints ? I look at the pictures of Totoro and think it's looking like a beaver... or it's a beast right ? Then I put cloth on it, and everything you can find leaves of... doesn't work

Tried to mix some animals with the hero and the warrior since it's from a manga... squad!

I'm still searching... but if anyone has some other hint, I would appreciate

After that I'll still have 30 to search anyway, so...

Just found a thread on a manga forum "what kind of animal is totoro?"... they had a pretty good hint for me

Even though they weren't talking about Alchemy...

I'm sorry, but if you have Flu, how can you not get this? Do you not know what avian mean? There are two possible combinations to get Avian Flu, both of which include Flu.

I have been putting things into a spreadsheet to make it easier. They don't show how to combine them (since that is half the fun) but it does make things nicer when you know what you are looking for. I hope this helps some of you.

THIS ONE IS KINDA HARD.

Mythbusters did this on the show with them and there was an internet video about putting them into something and it did something
