[Rumor] Evo Being Discontinued? New Model Out In December?

If I were a betting man, I would put my money on this progression. HTC (Sense enabled, WiMax) Win7 mobile phone with 1.5 Snapdragon, aluminum unibody frame and 1800 mAh battery by Black Friday. Every knows now that Microsoft is pushing for a holiday season release. The Evo will be around just like the Moment, the Hero and Instinct still lanquish on shelves. Maybe the Evo will get an incremental upgrade to Android 3.0 by the holiday. Don't expect to see a new "killer" HTC phone until next year and bet it will be an Android enhanced version of whatever Win7 phone they release this year.

Don't most phones have to go through FCC approval before being sold? I am pretty sure thats takes a little bit of time so I am sure we will know soon if their is a new sprint phone comming out for December. I can remember when it took forever for sprint to get a kick but phone. I went from a flip phone to a HTC ppc-6700 to an HTC ppc-6800(mogul) then had to wait forever for the Hero and now EVO 6 months later so I really do not mind the now fast progression. Now as far as WinMo7 well after going to android I just can't see me ever going back. for me it's just too little too late.
