You don't need to flash the overclockfix.zip if you are going to flash one of Dec's stable uncapped kernels.

Gotcha, if I already did should I restore back to the previous state before flashing it, or should it not be a problem? the oc widget shows everything up to 126...., but I just have it topped out at 710. Running very smooth. Someone listed some settings in one of these posts for optimum performance in the ocwidget settings, but having trouble finding here I saw it, maybe it was over @ xda...
Anyone have an idea when the nightlys will be... well complete?
Don't know but I'm having fun with these nightlies, as I have not run into much trouble. Nandroid....download nightly....flash....reboot....flash uncapped....reboot....enjoy froyo for another day......nandroid...........

Andy.
Does flashing the uncapped help by merely flashing it or do you have to tweak it after flashing it?
It's definitely helping my battery life for 1. After I reboot with the uncapped, I use the oc widget and set at 556,768. Phone smooth and fast. Again, after you flash a new nightly, you can only oc to 691.
I just flashed this and love it, but in the stock music most of my songs have been filed under "unknown. artist" is there a good music app or some kind of work around for this?
I ran the original build for like a month without flashing a nightly, then flashed one and was totally surprised with how far they had come... this is a great rom!
I like mixzing. I bought the paid version. You can try the free one, and see if you like it.

Ahh I see, I think I will do the same, I mean its relatively to install and do the tweaks to get it running but I think it would be more rewarding to flash a new nightly after say a week as opposed to every night or other night.
It was really easy to get it going. A couple minor tweaks to get it how you want... And definitely wait a couple days to update it, it is more rewarding.
Yea I use the MixZing free version, definitely one of my favorite apps, maybe one day i'll purchase the paid version (or find an apk for it, lol)
I have heard NOT to use setcpu with it but rather OC
Is this true?
You should definitely support the debs that make good apps, i mean try the apk if you can find it, but if you like it buy it and support the guys who make it happen
Can't comment on setcpu, have NOT used it
It's really more of a personal preference than anything. Right now I am not using either, and instead just using collin's battery tweak.

Congrats on your 1000th post, lol
So did u have to wipe data to flash to 2.3.3? If so how did u go back to froyo without having to pit all the apps back?
