CyanogenMod-6 for Hero V6.0.0 - RC1

Gotcha, if I already did should I restore back to the previous state before flashing it, or should it not be a problem? the oc widget shows everything up to 126...., but I just have it topped out at 710. Running very smooth. Someone listed some settings in one of these posts for optimum performance in the ocwidget settings, but having trouble finding here I saw it, maybe it was over @ xda...

Don't restore, wait for the 825 nightly, flash the 825 and reboot then flash the uncapped kernel. Nandroid first of course;)

Andy.

Does flashing the uncapped help by merely flashing it or do you have to tweak it after flashing it?

It's definitely helping my battery life for 1. After I reboot with the uncapped, I use the oc widget and set at 556,768. Phone smooth and fast. Again, after you flash a new nightly, you can only oc to 691.

I ran the original build for like a month without flashing a nightly, then flashed one and was totally surprised with how far they had come... this is a great rom!

Ahh I see, I think I will do the same, I mean its relatively to install and do the tweaks to get it running but I think it would be more rewarding to flash a new nightly after say a week as opposed to every night or other night.

I like mixzing. I bought the paid version. You can try the free one, and see if you like it.

Yea I use the MixZing free version, definitely one of my favorite apps, maybe one day i'll purchase the paid version (or find an apk for it, lol)

I just flashed this and love it, but in the stock music most of my songs have been filed under "unknown. artist" is there a good music app or some kind of work around for this?

Odd, are your MP3 ID tags just not tagged properly? Haven't run into this issue with anything I've thrown at it so far..

Speaking of MP3/music apps, I have never found a replacement for the stock player. Have tried Doubletwist, MixZing.. felt lukewarm about all of them. Really glad about being able to use Music Mod though.

It was really easy to get it going. A couple minor tweaks to get it how you want... And definitely wait a couple days to update it, it is more rewarding.

You should definitely support the devs that make good apps, i mean try the apk if you can find it, but if you like it buy it and support the guys who make it happen;)
