Help What happened?

Help,

My EVO was working perfect even after the update. All of a sudden the gmail doesn't automatically sync, I have to do it manual. Also, I noticed when I drive from one city to another its no longer refreshing unless I do it. Any suggestions? :thinking:

Do a battery pull leave it out for like 20 seconds

No need to pull out the battery unless your phone is completely unresponsive. Hold down the power button until a menu appears. First option is to turn off the phone. That allows the phone to shut down gracefully.

Having the same problem since "upgrading" to Froyo. Called Sprint tech support yesterday. He said it was a known problem, and essentially they do not have a fix or practical work around for it now. Just another reason to have remembered "if it ain't broke..." before stepping into the maw of Froyo.

I've always done a battery pull ( after turning the phone off of course) seems more affective

it seems more effective cause that's what you want to think. There's no difference between a phone that's off because you turned it off, or a phone that's off because you took away its power source.

You can also throw some salt over your shoulder to make sure it's really off.
