Oh, even while in the Air Force they are "deploying" to those places now. GRR...and that's why Predator and Global Hawk operators irk me. While I was in Iraq in 2006, a group of them in, IIRC, Florida...were complaining about how they had it just as bad as us in Iraq because they were away from home too...in the United States, getting payed twice as much as us, got to bring their families with them, etc. etc.

....Course, if I didn't wear glasses, I woulda gone Air Force myself

Kinda sad that I can't sit behind a computer screen and fly a UAV because I wear glasses.

Ah well, those times are gone now...I'm steering as far away from anything military as I can

Trying to get into something in the gaming area. I was enrolled in Full Sail University for Game Art, but Chase stopped carrying student loans for Full Sail, and no one else wanted to give a $100,000 student loan to someone with 2 loans already. <sigh> What I wouldn't give for a job at Bioware!

i work for the WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Program as the program manager in charge of 8 offices, as well as the liason for Early Head Start and run 5 offices for them.. ive been here for over 6 years, and i need a new job, badly.

Oh I know. I could do a week, MAYBE two at Huachuca; I've done some time at China Lake too. I wouldn't forward deploy with them though.
