Next Droid Phones for Verizon? When are they coming out?

I am just wondering when the next wave of Droid phones will be out for Verizon and which models are coming. I currently have an Eris that I am taking back. I love the phone, but the battery sucks. I am temporarily going to get my Dare turned back on-battery lasts forever.
I really want a Droid phone, but the other one I am considering is the Omnia 2 which comes out on 12/02/2009-from what I have read I would at least get two days of usage from the phone on a single charge.

Okay, I have been reading on this forum for the past few days now sitting quiet and waiting for the most opportune time for me to voice my opinion. That moment obscurley came just a second ago when I read your post. Keep in mind that I was not registered and finally decided it was time for me to say something. I actually have played around with a live version of the omnia II and must tell you about some pro's and cons that the phone has...

Pro's
1. Very light - the phone weighs much much lighter than the Moto Droid and a tad bit lighter than the Eris
2. Huge Screen - approx. same size as Moto Droid
3. Swipe text - for thos not formiliar, it allows you to never let your finger or fingers leave the screen... just swipe from one key to the next to formulate a word
4. 5 mp camera... see cons for other news on camera
5. Full flash can be accessed on Skyfire due to the fact that it is a windows mobile phone.

Con's
1. Touch screen lags, drags, and ultimatley sucks for responsiveness
2. No Flash!!! WTF, it's almost 2010 and no flash on the camera!?!
3. The phone is huge, super thick and no keyboard... this is not the biggest issue (no pun intended) but it's annoying.

I got to mess around with it for about 20 minutes and these were my observations.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Yeah maybe you were using the Eris. The Omnia II has a flash.

The lack of flash is main reason I took the Eris back. I had no idea when I walked out of the store on day 1 that the Eris didn't have a flash. I couldn't believe they would ship a smart phone WITHOUT a flash.

I am going to go in Wednesday to Verizon to try out the Omnia II. I am either going to walk out with the Omnia II or the Droid. I am leaning more toward the Omnia II-as long as I can surf the web with a good browser and take pictures I will be happy-Omnia allegedly has a good battery life unlike the droid.
