Hi all!

I just had a guy at Best Buy sweet talk Sprint into moving up my upgrade date 8 days early because I HAD to have an Evo! Got it about two hours ago, and I am loving it! Haven't seen any major battery drainage, and I'm happy as can be (knock wood, fingers crossed).

I've been lurking for awhile, and have been really helped reading all the tips and tricks. Thanks to everyone for the great knowledge base. I asked the BB guy to check the build # on my phone, and he didn't have a clue. So I showed him where to find it. He asked me if I wanted a part-time job. :D

So again, many thanks, and I look forward to posting more!

In april I was 2 months from the end of my contract with Sprint for my instincts. I went to bestbuy and renewed my contract early for 3 heros.

4 months later (last night) I dropped my hero in the toilet. Needless to say I didnt want it anymore. Amazingly after sitting in the water for at least 10 seconds before I bravely plunged my hand in to get it out, it was still working. I took it out and used compressed air to dry it off. The screen started developing a fog so I knew it was done. Still works, but who wants to put that next to their face.

I called bestbuy, and they were out of stock. I called Radio Shack and they said if I could get there in 15 min I could have one that was reserved for someone else who the guy didnt like. I drove down there and not only did he give me the upgrade price even though I had just upgraded my line 4 months ago, but he even hooked up my hero and transferred all my contacts for me. Fist bump and a chest bang and I was out of there.
