I called Phantom Skinz this morning and they told me the Epic 4G pre-orders will ship Tuesday or Wednesday this week. I read reviews that said the matte full body cases make phone screens look murky and frosted so went with the clear full body. I have no experience with Phantom Skinz but seems like a good deal with the 30% off coupon.

We have drawn the Samsung Epic and all Clear, Matte and Chromatics (Carbon Fiber) orders will ship today, Tuesday, August 31st. In response to your comment above, all MATTE Finish Full Body Kit orders always ship with both Clear and Matte Screen Protectors so you can have the best of both worlds.

Chromatics for this phone aint even out yet or atleast not on the website. I thought you represented phantomskinz..

You are right. I was told that everything is up but I guess our programmer will not have the Official Epic file up until tomorrow. However, if you are in a hurry, you can order any Samsung phone in Chromatics (ie. Galaxy, Captivate, Vibrant) and put in the notes that you want the Epic. If that doesn't work, all the Chromatics will be available for on-line purchase sometime tomorrow. I apologize for the mistake. I am attaching a couple of Carbon Fiber pics for proof.

Yes. There are 4 pieces that wrap the front Bezel when you order any Chromatics kit for the Samsung Epic 4G. They just do not show up in the photos.

Received mine today! Very impressed!!

Those of you who dont want to buy a case bcoz it makes the phone chubby and have decided to go naked, i would highly suggest you try the chromatics out! It makes the phone more sexy without adding anything to the size

Guys, please post pictures! I wanna get the chromatic one, probably white. Does the full body cover the black plastic on the side of the phone closer to the glass? does it cover the chrome plastic and the back battery cover as well? Please post a pic of white chromatic!!!!!

Btw I had phantom skinz for my pre and it rocked!

I just installed matte Phantom Skinz with clear screen protector. It is fantastic, it covers the bezels, the front screen, and the back cover very well.

It's hard to take pictures because it's almost invisible, and very hard to see on the black bezel or the screen, but trust me, it fits and protects very well.

I like Phantom Skinz because they have the best cut and the best coverage.

Unfortunately my camera is not up to par. You would need a DSLR with some really good lighting to zoom in on it. Suffice it to say everyone who has seen the matte skins on my phones have been amazed, and are ordering it for their phones.

Why do you need a dSLR when you have a great camera right in your hands?? I took the back cover off and put the Epic in macro mode and got these great pics. I love my Phantom Skinz. There are some gaps where things dont exactly line up but I dont care. Also, they came with clear skin for the front glass but I'm taking my chances with the Gorilla glass and so far so good. Besides, you have to soak those in water first and that freaks me out. The matte skins are like thick stickers. The tiny ridges you see in the pics feel just like they look. It is a nice texture. I did have some issue at first with some of the curved areas not staying flat but I kept pushing them back down and now they seem to have molded nicely so they stay down. Money well spent IMHO.

That is not a matte skin. That is a chromatic skin.

The matte skin is almost invisible, very hard to see even with the naked eyes.

Does anyone have pictures of their phantom skinz on their Epic? I'm especially interested in the black and white carbon fiber chromatics. I'm hoping to get a good look at what it would look like by looking at a picture of the whole phone with it on. I've searched many videos online and none of them seem to be of the Epic...Thanks in advance!
