i just installed bb.4 and loaded x-theme over it. I also flashed p3droid's lv 1ghz kernal, and everything is running smooth except my market wont work, and appbrain cant connect. I think people may have had this problem before, anyone know a fix?

It may or may not..
Just make a Nandroid backup before you flash to a FRG01B ROM. That way if the X-Theme doesn't flash properly, you can restore your current setup.

0.4 for FRF84B does work as well on the deodexed FRG01B , just loaded it up.

*also working on deodexed FRG22 , and FRG22D

There is a theme in the market called ADW Droid X that you can use with the newest release of ADW Launcher. It features a transparent app drawer background, and the desktop dots are arranged differently. Aside from that it's really no different from the themed ADW listed in this thread. The main thing is using the newest version of ADW.

Fabolous has moved to the Droid X so I think most of his contributions will be for that device. I also believe that Pete is actively working on BBv0.5 (but that's all a "little birdy" would tell me

hey fab what xml did you modify to change the black on the black buttons to white. Im making a theme and have trouble with fixing the black on black.

Actually, you need to modify resources.arsc in framework-res.apk

Rename it to .xml, search for this string:

08 00 00 01 03 00 06 01 AF 00 01 01 08 00 00 11 11 00 00 00 D4 00 01 01 08 00 00 01 04 00 08 01

Change it to:

08 00 00 01 01 00 06 01 AF 00 01 01 08 00 00 11 11 00 00 00 D4 00 01 01 08 00 00 01 04 00 08 01

And rename back to .asrc

This should work for 2.2 ROMs.

Did you ever determine why some form buttons in the browser and the "Show Pictures" button in GMail were still black text on black button? I mentioned it right after you put the fixed xTheme out, but never heard any more about it.
