Help Froyo Google Calendar Issues

Loving the new 2.2 on the incredible.....lots of great performance improvements.
Just wanted to see if anyone else is having calendar issues:

1. when selecting an event there is no edit button (can long press to edit though). It seems to be doing something weird when selecting an event. It will show the event then flash to a screen as if it's an invitation.
2. events created on the phone show up as invitations on my google calendar
3. google calendar seems to be syncing a lot even though I have not made changes.

I believe most of these issues are also happening on the HTC EVO with 2.2. Any ideas?

I talked to HTC and they said they only way to edit an event is to go to the day or agenda view and long press on the event. To me it seems crazy that there is no edit option within the event page itself. Anyway, you still can edit events it just takes a few extra steps. So long press on the event in the day or agenda view and you'll see the edit option.

I updated to Froyo a few days ago (with the RUU) and find similar problems with Google Calendar.

It appears that entries made through the pc sync like they always did to the phone, but entries made through the phone appear as invitations on the pc.

Also, I had a recurring all day entry on the calendar, which had been there for a long time, and tried to change a detail it in through the phone. The original entry was left unchanged and the revised entry was picked up as a new invitation, i.e. there were then two entries, identical but for the change I had tried to make.

I've gone through all the permissions, reset and reloaded the phone, but find no way to change this.

Are many people having this issue? Does anyone have a way to correct it?

Anyone experiencing a calendar "lag"? i.e. my calendar takes a FULL 10-15 seconds to become viewable. Once the days that I have events scheduled become viewable and you touch a specific day, it takes another 6-8 seconds for that day to become viewable.

2.1 was lightning fast when it came to the calendar widget....anyone else experiencing these problems? Any ideas for fixing it?

Are any of you having problems with multiple calendars (under 1 account) syncing? It seems to have started after the froyo upgrade. I have different calendars, color coded differently with different default reminders for birthdays, tv shows, bills, etc. For some reason, none of the birthdays are showing up. Others, such as bills, still are. It may be coincidence with the froyo upgrade, I think I read something else about events expiring after a while. The birthdays were all created long before the other events such as tv shows and bills. I'm trying to narrow down the problem.

I have a problem with the calendar after RUU upgrade to 2.2. Seems to not have installed at all. The program is there and the calendar is visible, but all my events are gone. When I try to enter a new event, I get an error message "you have no calendars". Anyone else experience this? Is there any way to re-install the sense calendar? . Thanks.

Edit: nevermind, found it pretty simple.

I have been struggling with this problem on my Droid (1); when I added a birthday to an existing contact in Gmail on my PC, it would show up on the calendar on the PC but not on the Droid's calendar. Here's how to get it sync'd on thr Droid. Open Calendar, go to the Menu, hit More, hit Calendars, select Contacts Birthdays and..., tap twice until it reads not syncd, not visible. THEN HIT OK AND GO BACK TO THE CALENDAR. Then go to the menu, hit More, hit Calendar, select Contacts Birthdays and.., tap until it shows syncd and visible, HIT OK. Now the birthday you entered for an existing contact should show up as soon as it syncs.
