REVOlution Remix

So I saw a new theme for the Nexus One that was very similar to the REVOlution theme and decided to mix them together to create this "Remix" version. Credit goes to Manup456 and m00moo from the XDA Forums for creating the theme images. I also created a few originals myself.

Whats different from the original?

- Enhanced widget backgrounds
- New clock widget
- New Dock Icons
- "Remixed" notification pull down
- Lock screen
- more to come....

Any chance we could see the REVOlution theme on Liquid's ROM? This is by far my favorite theme, but LFY is my favorite ROM so something's gotta give!

LOVE IT! I was using this theme with Lithium Mod and just switched to CM 6. This is my favorite theme!

So yes, CM6 is required first.

I miss the EVO Themed dialer. Dropped the ball on that one big time.

Not sure if you run across this yet, but I might have found a bug. I installed CM6 last night, and on my way home from work (40 minute drive) I listened to some music off of the Droid. I got home, finally got the kids to sleep and installed your theme. Got everything all set up and went to bed, woke up this morning, tried to listen to music on my Droid and the Music app just FC's every time you try and play anything.

Now, just to make sure I didn't screw something up, I took a backup of CM6 un-themed with all apps downloaded before I applied your theme, restored that, tried the music player and it worked. Re-applied your theme, and the music player doesn't work. The theme is amazing, love the look. But need the music app.

Will be running CM6 plain till you get a fix out there.

inssane was using Revolution theme on UD 7 how does one go about finding a version for UD8. I know it is early but do you have any intentions of doing this mix theme for UD8, would love to try it. Thanks.

uhm to add to the glitches i found a way to install the theme i think...but when i put my droid to sleep it doesn't lock and the home button doesn't do anything anymore it just makes my phone vibrate shortly but doesn't send it back to the home page or anything not even holding it down does anything ;-;

maybe i did something wrong?

uhm a slight fix to your little problem? either download meridian media player which i did after i tried the second option im about to give you....it only force closes when choosing a song correct? well then just put the music app widget on your home screen and play music through that instead. you'll be forced to scroll through music little by little itll get annoying but meh what can you do. i just downloaded meridian media player. like i said its free

With all due respect this isn't iinsane's theme, its created by myself using themes by Manup456 and m00moo. iinsane was just posting a link to my thread.

As for the music player, I'll take a look at it. Not sure why its not working as its just a version of Music Mod that I copied over the original music.apk.

Hey Benny for some reason the clear button in the notifications car isn't there. When i touch the spot, it doesn't do anything. Also my clock is black in the notifications bar, and CM Settings won't change it to white....

As far as Music.apk I just switched it from another build....works for me.

Just the clear button and a few framework issues in the notifications bar. It doesn't look as clean as Bugless Evolution on my phone. If you want a pic of what I see let me know, I wouldn't mind posting one.

Benny,

Something's def up with the Music app. I posted the same thing yesterday at cyanogenmod forums. When I click a song directly, it FCs every time, so it doesn't appear to be an isolated incident. As for the obligatory "did you wipe" question, I did twice before installing CM6.

uhm for the color problem with the black text for the clock thats easy just use the spare tools app that came with cyanogenmod it allows you to customize things like font and color and even animation for windows and stuff like that. because the skin isn't actually PART of cyanogenmod the settings section for cyanogen related to physical appearance can't be changed using those settings. at least i dont think you can ^^;;

You have to setup the notification colors in the Cyanogen Settings under User Interface --> Notification Colors

Everyone is so flipping touchy, there was nothing on the OP about who's it was, just thought someone should know that the theme breaks the music app.

I just saw everyone asking me about it and I am not sure how people thought it was mine as the OP link was right at the top.

Benny, could you do change the dialer to the original one that was EVO themed? I really miss that.

Lastly - do you have plans for UD8? The dialer is sweet and the black is nice, but no themed Twitter, Facebook - and the red press is no good IMHO.
I love the EVO themes and UD8 seems to be picking up in popularity since it's a nice and FAST release.

Not sure about doing a UD8 release, I had not planned on it. I do have plans to update all my theme ports tomorrow. I'll be sure to update the dialer for CM6 Remix. I'm also going to fix the music widget and the Bluetooth icon. I'm going to port REVOlution Remix to BB tomorrow also.

Maybe I'll throw UD8 on my phone tomorrow to see if I like it. I'll agree that the themes for that ROM seem to be thrown together quickly and a lot of the details are missed.

I have pretty good luck with the music player on CM6 other than some horribly nasty stuck in chipmunks mode times. But this theme has always caused problems for the stock music player. Unacceptable for me, looks great but can't use it till that's fixed.
