the top quote sounded like a whine to me. the slcd does not make the phone any less valuable. you make it sound like you would be getting ripped off if you got one.

and no i don't comment specifically toward you or anyone. i read a lot of posts and respond either when i feel i can help or if i disagree with what is being posted. don't take it personal if i have disagreed with you before. no big deal just my opinion.

Personally I would rather have amoled over slcd. Your opinion is yours, and I have mine. But there's a line that's gets crossed when you say I was whining. All you had to do was disagree, fine, that doesn't bother me. You didn't have to even respond to what I say. and if you do, at least be respectful, I've never disrespected you. That is all I ask, lafester. Peace, and One.

If anyone get's stuck with an SLCD I'd happily trade them :D
All the Nexus One whoa's with the burn-in on AMOLED screens has me so paranoid I cant enjoy the phone. With an SLCD I wouldn't have to worry about burn in and I can enjoy the phone without fear

Agreed. I've had my inc for 4 months and the screen is already burnt in, especially around the time display in the status bar.

Tests so far by tech sites for the SLCD vs AMOLED (on Desire):

1. Sharper text
2. Almost as saturated
3. Eats 30% more battery

As far as amoled:

Burn in? I have had my Inc since release and use the heck out of it. I aint gots no burn-in. Seems the juice that is put out to the diodes would not be enough to cook them.
