Lately I've been noticing my Evo won't remember any passwords. For example I will log in on this site and checker the box that says "remember me". But if I leave or close this site and come back later I have to login again. It's been doing that on other sites as well. I noticed that I haven't even been getting the pop up that asks me if I want to remember the password. Any ideas?

You shouldn't let your phone remember your passwords anyway. Did you go under browser settings and ensure the "remember passwords" box is checked?

Yeah I already made sure that box is checked under my browser setting. I also should mention that I'm using Skyfire for my browser if that helps anything. Regarding security issues and passwords, I only save passwords on sites that doesn't have important personal information. But things like my bank or anything like that I would only manually enter each time.

That's a skyfire problem. The stock android browser doesn't have that problem. I don't know how skyfire works, but if you selected under your browser setting to save passwords. Its going to save ALL of your passwords. Not some, but ALL. You can't pick and choose which passwords you save.

That's not your call.

I'm pissed of that google tries to make it more difficult to login by their constant prompting of passwords and having their browser not remembering passwords. All it leads to is people using short easy to remember passwords, and write them down in notepads on the telephone (and pissing them off)
