Motorola Droid... Help please!

Ok I have a motorla droid that i bought like what 8 months ago. it was what??? 300 or so with contract.... I was on a plan with my friend, she was suppose to have direct pay and they never took it out of her bank so the bill was ran up over this 8 months and come to find out the bill is about 600 dollars, give or take. we both dont have the money to pay right now and i refuse to pay her end, i also need my phone on and my aunt offered to put me on her contract, but they wont dissconnect my phone till the ballence is zeroed out. (lame!) but i was wondering if there is anyway to manually dissconnect from the verison network and reconnect it to a different contract as say a new phone? ive been using the wifi and everything on it like normal but i havent been able to use it and have this shitty go phone that never works..... someone please help me!

Its not reported lost or stolen lol its my phone, but they won't port it or anything to my aunts verizon accout even tho my friend ok'ed it. They want the plan paid off before they will let me pull my phone off her account

That's why I wanna know how to do it without verizon in the picture, like do I have to reload my phone or what haha

The phone was on an account with an outstanding balence. They won't port it over until its paid off. You really don't have a choice here. Its useless until you get the account paid off.

This is one of the reasons they discourage people from buying phones on eBay. If the ESN has a flag or balance due they will not activate the device. I would pay the whole thing get off that contract and make your friend repay you in either cash or services. I am sure you can think of something they can do for you.

hmmm lol im almost ready to just go buy a new droid haha. there what 50 bucks now, just irritating that i already have one. and it wasnt my mistake, i was paying my 60 to 80 a month. ok thanks guys. and if anyone has some way or knows of anyway, let me know

buying a new droid is your best bet. Your phone is blacklisted with verizon until that bill gets paid. Any way of getting around that (I dont think there are any) would be fraud. Sounds like your friend really screwed you...taking you money and not paying the bill is messed up.
