Help to the point of crying....

Yeah that's definitely under warranty - I would say do the above, a can of air can make a difference ( I blow all my holes out weekly for dust/lint :cool: ) but both physical button covers on the bottom are rockers, the opposite button settings, should raise the home button up - sounds like you've done everything you can do aside from take the thing apart, which will most certainly void your warranty. That could be done, if your good with micro-electronics. On that note, unless this has already been turned in for replacement, be careful if you start prying and tugging with any tools - ANY sign of tampery will also raise a flag, beat on it, push on it, blow on it, but DON'T be sticking any tools in there that could leave a mark -
