Yeah..I saw that but that is just to install either the rotary and the slider lockscreen. The OP says in the changelog that the lockscreen can be customized with messages or making items invisible. :thinking:

I don't have UD8 but I do have a custom lockscreen and long pressing items on the lockscreen gives me options.

Does that work on UD8 maybe?

Gave UD8 a shot, data kept switching on and off randomly throughout the day (for long periods of time) when I knew I should have service.

Wondering the same thing.. looked through every setting and couldnt find any extra settings for the lock screen. Also, the custom message does not work when using the rotary lock screen

Set the lock to pattern and you get a bunch of options for customizing the lock screen

I've been running this for a week, and love it. The only issue I have had is that it seems when i "wake" my phone Launcher Pro has force closed an inordinate amount of times. Not sure if this is a LP issue or UD issue, or if anyone else has had it.

Yea I'm having this same problem. Seem to be random for me. I have bars but the 3G will be missing and when I open an app I'll get a message about no service available.

I am having the same problem as above. I have tried installing from Clockwork after wiping data and cache partitions 3 to 5 times before installing. I then tried to install using SPRecovery (did the wipe/format several times again). Each time I can load and run the ROM but it gets stuck if I reset the phone. I even made a Nandroid backup while running UD8 and when it tried to reset -> boot loop. When I restored to the backup -> bootloop again!

Any ideas?

That is how I fixed the icon in the notification bar, it now will show the silent icon when using the power button to turn sound off.

As to the sound on icon on the lock screen I'm unsure of as I haven't been able to recreate the error.

I currently have Vibrate set to "Never". I would think that if I set it to "Only when not in Silent mode" it would vibrate and ring whenever I had an incoming call?

The other recurring issue I'm having is that whenever I answer a call (both normally and in car dock mode), the screen turns off (phone is nowhere near my ear). If I need to turn on the speaker or use the dial pad, I have to first turn on the phone and unlock it.

Try this:

Menu > Preferences > Advanced Settings > Memory Usage Settings > Prevent force-closes

I also have the "Use homescreen caches" and "Build caches as needed" boxes checked.

I NEVER have problems with LauncherPro. Ever.

I really want to run this rom, but two dealbreakers:

1. GPS absolutely refuses to work no matter what

2. Text conversations get mixed up - i.e. every once in a while, i'll send a text and it'll randomly go to someone else...

All three of those boxes were checked already. I am liking this ROM, and LOVE LP. I am on Launcher Pro Plus and am using 4 of the Plus widgets (agenda, facebook, bookmarks and people). Anyone know if these might cause it?

If you haven't flashed boot/cache/data etc, then try a different kernal. No probs here with GPS. Using Slayher 1.2 kernal. Text is also fine.

I use Agenda & Bookmarks and have no issues. I'd be surprised if the LauncherPro widgets were the issue.

It couldn't hurt to try this:

Settings > Ultimate Droid > Quick Commands > Fix Permissions

Need help w/ some things on this rom. Some of the UD settings always force close when I try to get into it. tried the fix permissions but it never works. Any suggestions? I really would like the music controls on my lockscreen!

Boot into recovery, wipe data, cache, system and boot, re-install rom.

Ugh, I got excited, but realized there was no Evo theme

. That's the only reason I'm on that Project Elite one. I like the ROM, but I liked UD8 better, just want Evo theme on UD8!

I tried the fix permissions, its ben better, but still not great. This is annoying but I haven't changed ROMS yet, so it cannot be that annoying.
