Its not "people" telling them to take it down. Its MOTOROLA. They are using the swype keyboard excuse for C&D orders with a Legal team that no one has enough money to fight or even bother because we have our ways around it

Honestly, its no better than a deodexed, bloat removed rom that you can make yourself with root explorer and add in one of my build.props.

Charging for it is a real dick move. I could update the build.prop and make it say you are running Android Super Secret Ass **** Edition 4.0 instead of 2.3.15

Its so easy to manipulate, just change one line of text. Just another reason P3 is a fraud.

If ya'll seriously want your phone to say that, lmao, I'll write it up and put it on rom manager just to prove it.

All you guys/gals are making excellent points. We should not pay for things like leaks because they do not belong to these guys. But if these guys and others like them didn't do what they do, then we all would be sadden by the fact that we can't mod and do stuff like install early upgrades. What if all the dev's came to the conclusion that they will not leak or mod anything that allows us to mod anything, unless they get paid.Then we all will be SOL and looking for new hobbies. Honestly, I'm on the fence about this one.

yeah there is a fine line to what is acceptable and what is not... I think this is over the line

Like a previous poster said if there was a free and donate version that would be fine

As for Tranquility And I'm just asking because I don't know and you seem to have some insight. What can be done to a ROM if you can't get at the kernel in a few weeks time and how far can you go just changing the system folder?

Devs never really charge. They ask for donations. P3 is charging for an app, which is the "only" way to get a leak he didnt even develop. Thats the problem.

And your last paragraph hits the nail on the head. We cant do much at all. These roms are BS. The only thing we can do is add/remove apps right now, and tweak a few lines of code. thats it

Everything can be done via root explorer.
