The unlock butten is shit. And so on, etc etc etc.
Samsung will not see any of my money ever again!

yep the unlock button is absolutely atrocious, not to mention the extremly sensitive cam button that apperently drains your battery when your phone is locked. now that is a major **** up by samsung.

I thought that one was fixed long ago? I wouldn't know because I don't use the pouch anymore, but I remember reports that it had been fixed by IK4 at least...

not sure if it was fixed but samsung failed. I will not buy their phones again only because of their lack of support.

In the new GAOSP Galaxy Froyo 2.2 the side unlock button can be disabled and the power-on button can be used as the lock/unlock/wake key.
SO guys just wait.

I'm pretty happy with my Galaxy, except for those rediculous glitches and errors all the time =_=" doesn't matter. I tried rooting, not much success. I ended up installing 4 different USB drivers so everything crashed, and now my computer can't find my phone. Meh. I'll be getting a HTC soon, and I'm quite happy about that.

I bought galaxy as soon as it was released in India. It is the first android in India so I had no option. But I loved it. I had a bunch of problems with my galaxy :(

Then I have moved to Nexus one and been using it for past 2 months. So far loving my Nexus.
Got my Galaxy back after motherboard replacement from samsung sevice . Updated to GAOSP nightly 18092010, fell in love with it again :D (But not as much as I love my Nexus :p)
