Installed yesterday, went through the set-up process, and waited...and waited...and WAITED...for the Market to sync my apps. After about an hour (with zero apps installed and zero in the download queue in the Market), I downloaded Titanium Backup and restored that way. For whatever reason, the batch restore stalled at 82% (I have 152 app elements) - I restarted, Tibu restored the rest of the apps, and things seemed to be cranking along smoothly. I installed the Executive Series theme at lunch time yesterday, which I really enjoy, and went about my day. I noticed at the end of the day that the battery life seemed to be less than my last set-up, but that could've been from all the time I had the screen on trying to restore apps and whatnot. This morning, I went back and got the apps that I was missing (due to using themed versions in the Bugless Evolution theme), as well as 18 updates that I hadn't seen in the Market, and again, my battery life seems to be lower than normal. Temperatures also seem to be 20-30 degrees higher than with Chevy's ULV 800 mhz or 1.0 ghz kernel, but I'm guessing (hoping?) that's because it's a 1.2 ghz kernel. For the most part, everything is running well, but I've had about five LauncherPro Plus (0.7.9.0) FCs and if I try to look at a multimedia message after I've already viewed it once, Messaging just FCs as well. Not necessarily dealbreakers, but probably enough to make me at least try out Bugless Beast 0.5 whenever it releases.
Overall, solid outing, and, like I said, the first ROM other than Bugless Beast that I've used for more than an hour since the 2.1 days.
