not to mention, i wonder why he would choose the incredibles horrible mic quality over any-other-recording-device.

Perhaps it's what he had available at the time. My Incredible actually makes pretty good video with good sound quality. Sometimes, you have to go with what's handy at the time.

The mic quality for voice recorder is actually very good. its comparable to other recorders I've used. You see more of those reporters using phones than actual digital voice recorders.

i don't think those guys make that much money. why spend the money on an extra device when the one you have can do the job perfectly fine?

My mic seems to do pretty damn well with stuff. which is surprising becuase the hole seems to be slowly filling up with fuzz from my pockets - this is probably helped by the innocase.

Thats nice to know, I have never really used my mic besides when I am calling people.

my mic sounds like im recording in an aluminum can while shaking screws around inside also. its awful. i downloaded an app called "hi-fi corder" which helps, but it still sounds like 8 bit trash.
