NOTE: This is NOT my ROM. This is n_I_x' port of MIUI's ROM over on XDA. I felt that this ROM is just so awesome that it deserves a thread here to follow its progress and bring more attention to it.

All credit goes to the original creators of the ROM, MIUI.

Current version: 0.9.30.1

Instructions: Root and do a Nandroid backup (of course)

1st) Flash Radio.img
Froyo Radio.img: REQUIRED
2.15.00.09.01

2nd) Flash hboot 0.92
hboot 0.92: RECOMMENDED
PB31IMG.zip

3rd) Download ROM. Clear Cache and Data, then install ROM.
Version 0.9.30.1

4th) Download and flash fixes (You can download all and flash back to back)
Force close in Settings
Camera crash on 720P

Installed Apps:
Google Apps
Additional ringtones

Features:
Working Bluetooth calls (Streaming audio doesn't work)
Working Wifi Tether
Menu+Vol Down for screen shot (Saved to SD/MIUI)
Deleting an icon from stock launcher uninstalls the program
3 power bar options (Including an across-the-top version like from WinMo)
Apps2SD
720P Recording does work.

Issues:
Internal storage (EMMC) does not mount correctly
Camera .apk does not allow 8MP. 3rd party camera apps do.
Bluetooth cannot stream audio
Market is not showing Verizon
Launcher FC's on initial boot and every reboot
Very, very few Chinese options still present.

Semi-Issue: Stock apps cannot be removed from the home screen on the stock launcher (since this is the same as uninstalling them). You can move them to other screens, or use adb rm or mv to get rid of the ones you don't want. (I'll post a list of the adb commands later).

For those that want the Original MIUI messaging (with some Chinese present), xVenom89 has provided a link to it here. Install using adb push

I'm sure the MIUI developers would take issue with the assertion that ID created this ROM. The launcher and ROM are both MIUI creations, and ID gave us a better-functioning port.

Not minimizing his efforts, but he didn't develop this.

Also, I've yet to see confirmation that 720p recording works on the DInc.

I may have missed it, I've read too many posts on this ROM over at XDA, but is this deodexed? Looking forward to trying it out this weekend when I have some time.

You're right. While ID did put in the CDMA framework, MIUI are the actual creators of this ROM. I'll update the OP. :)

i just read your post and was wondering myself, and then looked at the link i just posted up, and the title of the thread "[ROM] MIUI 0.9.24 | Stock | Deodexed | No Translations" answers that question haha

Thanks JWorth, this is already step 4 in the OP. :)

You can see how everything was thrown everywhere, hence why I made this thread, to put it all in 1 place for everyone. :D

>_< sorrryy lol.. i guess i should have read more before trying to help.

i've been following the xda thread closely and saw that u started this one, so i just wanted to make sure all the good stuff gets here too :p

edit: i'm just gonna stop now haha.. u seem to have done a great job bringing it all over! thanks!

this is very interesting - it will take some getting used to no app drawer though

currently running through restoring everything via Titanium

Yeah, I threw LauncherPro and HomeSwitcher on there. I use LP for day-to-day, but when I want to show off I switch to the stock "Launcher," lol.. This is truly the love/hate child of iOS and Android.

LOL:D I saw that too. That thread is N1 based so I was curious about the Incredible port.

Yep, this is De-Odexed as well. This ROM just has the CDMA framework put in. There's a newer release on XDA that is Odexed, although this one seems really good and unless the new version has BT working, I'm going to keep trying to fix this one (EMMC and get 8MP enabled).

There wasn't much Chinese left no, but things like no being able to delete that icon off the desktop was buggin me.

Ah, I had forgotten about that. Stock installed apps can only be uninstalled with adb mv or rm. Removing them from the stock launcher is the same as uninstalling, and they put them into the /system/app directory instead of the normal app install directory (I can try to change that, too) so you have to use adb to remove them. :(

You can still move them to other screens though where they're more out of the way.

I use LP, so it's not a big deal to me.
