Please list Droid X froyo bugs, problems, glitches

 Ok I've got two critical screwups - bugs so far with the update:

Lost all audio when trying to make a call - Required reboot (Occurred once so far)

Music player crashes system upon pause/exit of song - Required battery pull (Occurred once but haven't gone back in to Music player to re-create since it was a pain in the ass snapping off the damn body-glove cover just to reset the battery...)

Getting a little pissed now after all this wait and this was released with these types of 'show stopper' buglets. Bad bad bad Moto & Verizon. Shame on you. Where is the QC?

Sorry if this has been mentioned - haven't finished reading the thread yet.

Last night I took about 2:15 of video and when I stopped the phone locked up. It finally started responding but I could no longer access the video, camera or gallery and the video is was taking vanished. I had to reboot the device.

Anyone else have a similar issue?

I noticed a lot of people are saying the Music player crashes their system. I have been dealing with this since the very first 2.2 leak came out. I gave up on Music player and installed this from the market, and haven't had a problem since:

Much easier fix than waiting for Moto to get off their butt and fix the problem.

My replacement has arrived! Its great to be back on 2.1. I have absolutely no plans on returning to hell(2.2) anytime soon! The factory reset didn't help anything for mine. But WOW the replacement is fast, reliable, and awesome. Even the Blur launcher is smooth now.
I would like to compare browser and youtube speeds against the old DX but 2.2 broke the wifi. I can tell the replacement is faster though. I'll miss the new gallery and camera interface but at least its functional.

Add random loss of mp3 ringtone(s) to my list. Noticed earlier when a call came in from a person assigned a custom ringtone mp3 that it defaulted to the beeps instead of ringer. Luckily I still caught the call but when proceeding to check/re-assign in the settings, no mp3 ringer would play in preview. Just for kicks I loaded up my player and same problem, pandora wouldn't even play till a reboot then the ringtones appear to be back as they would now play in preview.

I believe my 3 problems have been repeated in various posts now by numerous people. This OTA froyo is a mess! I feel like my phone has been injected with a virus from Verizon/Moto...wtf!

You said it man. That's exactly what it is! A virus! To think, they actually took time to make it harder to root, rather than spending that time making sure it was right. I'm happy now though with my replacement. I'm not worried about 2.2 because 2.1 is good enough until I get my next device which will be in Dec. Or Jan. It sure wont be a Motorola!

Maybe you should skip HTC as well. The Incredible had just as many problems with their update to 2.2.

I upgraded to 2.2 and the next day after I downloaded the new Mortal Combat trailer the DX turned into a brick! I brought it straight to Verizon and they said, "yeah, there's a few bugs with the new update and several people's phone's have died because of it." They sent me a new DX over night, should have it tomorrow. No way in hell will I upgrade to 2.2. Motorola can blow goats.

I have to battery pull every time I restart my phone or else I get stuck at the M. Did a factory reset and it still happens, so I think I am going to Verizon to see whats up today.

+1. Factory reset also did not work for me. Only solution so far is a battery pull, waiting 5 minutes, and then restarting.

What did Verizon tell you? I may head to the store tomorrow too.

Anyone out there with a fix for this problem?

How lomg is it stuck at the "M" before you do the battery pull? Mine had SEVERAL bugs. I decided to see exactly how long it was going to stay on the M. I was actually going to take it to the Verizon store stuck on the M screen so they can see my exact problem (you know how things fix themselves as soon as you show someone). After 20+ minutes, my DX booted up on its own, and has been ALMOST flawless since. So I suggest leaving it on the M screen for at least 20 minutes. Let it work the bugs out on its own, rather than chase the bugs back into hiding. If that doesn't work, call *22899. If THAT doesn't work, call for a new phone.

I guess i am lucky. My phone is much improved on 2.2. Everything is faster and better. Only two issues i have are

when playing music over stock app if i hit the unlock key the song skips, like it is a cd and you hit a bump in the road. Only does it when i unlock, if i hit it again to lock it doesn't.

And my battery manager was FC, but i fixed that by plugging it in when in batt manager, unplugging, then plugging back in. Works fine now. No need to waste time doing a factory reset, try that first.

Overall i am very happy with the update. Almost everything is much faster and smoother. I was even able to root using a one click rooting method, it had me rooted in under 3 min, just ran a batch file. Loved it. Didn't even remove root before i updated, so once i re-rooted it already had all my permissions saved still, so i didn't need to approve things all over again

I bought my phone on July 15th and only had one issue. (alarm not going off a few times, but I figured out that was due to me using a task kller before I went to sleep.)
I got the OTA 2.2 update on Sept 21st. The next day, I first tried to play a YouTube video (tried 10 different ones) and it would fail until I turned the phone off/on. An hour later I tried the new battery manager, and it would force close until I turned the phone off/on. Later that same day, the camcorder would not record (tried it 20 times!) until I turned the phone off/on.
No problems since then, but I was not too happy on the 22nd.

the gallery would crash not being able to read any of the video files. if I try recording a video it would crash n go back to the home screen. the only way to fix it is to reboot the phone, really annoying. already did two factory resets n the same result. wish I could go back to 2.1 :(
